Not going to count the random Lycan minibosses because they are all bland.

As characters:

Moreau
Lady Dimitrescu
Heisenberg
Mother Miranda
Donna

As gameplay sections:

Donna (on first playthough)
Lady Dimitrescu
Moreau
Donna (New Game+)
Mother Miranda
Heisenberg

I didn't really get what Donna's character was beyond "Creepy Doll girl" she didn't really seem to have much personality. The other bosses had different takes on/relationships with Ethan. Donna was just there as wallpaper while Ethan worked through shit about his relationship with Mia/Rose.

And the game declined after the Dollhouse section. Especially once you reach the factory and it drags

What do you say CE?

Characters:

Dimitrescu - She's just a cool design and the mother/daughter relationship made her slightly more complex than the other lords.
Moreau - I thought he was kind of adorable and I felt bad for him.
Heisenberg - He's fun.
Donna - Same point you made. She's just there to justify the hallucination.
Mother Miranda - She's a nothing character. The design is cool, but the game didn't put enough focus on her for me to give a shit about her.

Donna - Nothing needs explaining, the Baby was great.
Dimitrescu - I think this was the most balanced area in terms of gameplay. Enough exploration, enough combat. Dimitrescu was kind of a joke, but the daughters were threatening enough that you wanted to run from them.
Heisenberg - I didn't love the factory, this is mostly just because I found the other area worse.
Moreau - I think he might be the best boss (not that it's a high bar), but his area is really short and the bit where you have to dodge him on the lake walkways wasn't tense at all.
Mother Miranda - I guess this is Chris' part? I did not like it. The OP weapons makes me think it was intended to be a power fantasy, but then they just throw shitloads of enemies at you and it becomes annoyingly bullet spongey. The laser sight was also obnoxious to use.

Characters:
Lady D
Has the most memorable interactions withe player, plus getting to see her interact with the daughters is cool. She's got my favorite VA by far as well. And she makes my pp hard so there's that.

Heisenberg
A lot of people dislike his VA, but I think it suits his character well. The man is pure camp and love it, well suited to being a RE villain.

Moreau
I love the put-upon character type, and Moreau nails it. I just wanna give the poor boy a hug. And then kill him because he's evil and gross

Miranda
Kind of underplayed for a main villain. Pretty much all of her development happens at the very end and that's mostly thorugh reading notes and such.

Donna
Don't really get much with her at all. Hell, we barely even get much from her doll either. She's just kinda there.

Sections:

Lady D
Definitely my favorite by far. Good balance of all of the classic elements of RE, and having multiple Mr. X type stalkers was great. Good amount of depth and isn't too short or too long. Boss fight itself is decent and doesn't overstay it's welcome. Has the best visual design of the levels to boot.

Donna
Obviously the tricks lose some of their charm the second time round, but it's still good fun and has great atmosphere. A nice change of pace including the boss fight, and I'm a sucker for puzzle bosses.

Moreau
A bit short in terms of the gameplay sections, but the little chase on the water is fun and intense. His boss mechanics are good enough, but he has way too much HP on higher diifculties to the point it starts to get repetitive.

Miranda
Her fight was pretty enjoyable and had a good amount of variety. Again, HP was a little high but that's to be expected for a final boss. I guess she doesn't really have her own level, unless we're counting the Chris sgement, though that wouldn't change my ranking. Not much depth to it, but getting to blast through a bunch of enemies was a neat change of pace for a bit.

Heisenberg
Definitely the low point of the game. Has some neat ideas, but the level lasts way too long. I wanted to be done with it by the time i reached the second floor. His fight is kinda fun I guess, though not as fun as you'd expect for a tank vs. giant mech battle to be.

Lady D was just the right amount of challenge given that she could fly and charge you. That was the best.

Moreau was okay. I died far more often getting instakilled from traversing the platforms than tbe actual boss fight.

Heisenberg was...interesting. Not excellent or bad but it felt like that outrageous chainsaw fight in RE7. Oddly it didn't get good until after I got back on my feet.

Mother Miranda should've been ideally the most challenging and fun but it was also decent that some of it felt like a callback to the Sadler battle in RE4. The darkness aspects weren't difficult enough so it left alot to be desired.

Beneviento was embarassing and not even considered a boss nor a battle.
