according to statistics, attractive single men often have their sexuality questioned because they believe they should have no trouble finding a "girl" so the notion that they're still single is because they're GAY since it's harder to find a same-sex partner with limited options than if he were straight..

but switch that around if it's an ugly man who is single, people don't bat an eye and question their sexuality at all and just assume they're straight but single for a reason...cause they're ugly and not because they are gay

Um, yes? Ugly people have a hard time dating, so the primary reason someone will think you don't have a date/are single, is based on your looks.

If you look good, but don't have a date/significant other, then it would make sense that it was by choice, not by lack of options.

That doesn't neccesarily mean the dude/girl is gay, just it's one of the other options. They could be asexual, they could hate sex, they could be an alien pretending to be a human, tons of reasons.

Also is it really harder for gay people to find another gay person? I guess I have just always lived in areas where it's so common it doesn't seem like that.

Pretty much. Even legitimately awful people can still get dates if they're highly attractive. I had a co-worker who went out with an attractive guy convicted of rape despite knowing he was convicted of rape. That's one of those criminals you kind of want to avoid.

However, the assumption that attractive bachelors are gay is stupid because attractive men would have boyfriends if they were gay. Same logic disproves that shitty theory.

Whole it makes sense to some degree, its still pretty dumb. They could have a ton of reasons. Like needed time after a bad relationship. Or not wanting one at the time. Or not finding a person you want to stay with. Could be many reasons.

That said, the same thing can happen in the military. While it doesnt happen as much in my area, so remember this other guy was talking about his section. And he was like, If you arent married with a kid by like 23-25 or something, everyone you work with just assumes youre gay. Which was dumb. Depends on many things, but it normally is. With the release of apps like Grindr, things got better. The older sites werent the best. And always wanted money for the better versions (I still just used the free ones) It also depends on how open you or the other person are. People have been getting more open since its not as taboo anymore, though

It makes sense that the discrepancy exists, but the assumption is pretty dumb. There are countless reasons for an attractive dude to be single that don't involve being gay, not least of which is that he simply doesn't feel like being in a relationship.

I have little patience for people trying to tell me dirt isnt brown or grass isnt green, so I am not going to try to argue something that is so obviously true to most of the population. Women simply have it easier when finding sexual partners and if you need your own proof just try asking the other men in your life if they have difficulty finding a girl. That probably because of how it's used. People tell males to swipe right on everybody. And many do. Meaning that a female looking for a males most likely is going to get more swipes since many males (not all, though) follow this rule. Females normally don't, though...

Well, and the fact that there are way more males on the site. I read somewhere it was nine to one. Though, another site says 75.8% male and 24.2% female.
