Mead 07/10/21 12:05:50 PM #2:	Its hit or miss even at a lot of nice restaurants, and honestly I think both it and rice pilaf are pretty overrated. The basic method (cooking rice by serial reductions) is so versatile that it's hard to make blanket statements about it. --- This is my signature. captpackrat 07/10/21 1:42:58 PM #9:	I've made risotto a couple times before. It's really good but it's a major pain in the butt to prepare. Add part of the liquid. Stir until it's absorbed. Add more liquid. Stir some more. Repeat until your arm falls off. Someone needs to invent a machine that can make it automatically.
