Especially the Hirotomi quest. Straight up savaged that guy

The traveler was told in no uncertain terms that they would be reunited with their sibling once they've met all 7 Archons. It makes sense that they're going to be laser focused on that.

I rushed through because I gots other games to play, namely FFXIV cause I wanna stay ahead in the story from a couple streamers i'm watching are at who are also playing through FFXIV for the first time. I have all the quests done, and am about 60% of the way through 100% each area. I'll probably just wait a few days until the maps are updated so I can zoop up all the stuff i'm missing in one go.

Archon quests are not the focus of the gameplay, exploring the map is. Rushing to grab every chest is way worse than getting through the shitty repetitive dialogue they call archon quests.

I will say that fireworks quest was godawful. I was tapping my way through the dialog as quick as the game would let me.

Go do the purification sidequest (starts right when you leave the first town in Inazuma) and then when given a choice of the next area to purify, lead it into Araumi.
This is the most interesting place in the whole game I explored so far, especially the domain.

Her constellations help a lot, even C3, but C4-C6 which aren't available yet are amazing

Her Ult seems more Xingqiu ish imo

I'm using Thundering Fury but I wonder if that Fate set might be better since it's all ER

Btw Kazuha is fucking brutal DPS in the overworld. His potential was waaaaaay undersold in his banner.

Yay +18% extra damage, stamina refund on dash and more critdmg on my Ayaka. I guess from now on she'll be legit useful in combat with her melee attacks and the burst damage will skyrocket.

My full tropic thunder HP Zhongli has over 40k HP. 30% of that is 12k so Kokomi would do essentially no damage whatsoever until her third attack where she does 12k that can essentially never crit and it's only while her burst is in effect. Because it's also the third attack it's functionally impossible to vape it without an ass backwards strategy like Klee's mines.

Basically she's just Barbara with a little more damage. My traveler does more damage than this with basic attacks.

I actually want Kokomi. Her skill seems to scale pretty hard damage-wise and has a bigger aoe than Barbara's so I think she'd be good in freeze teams at least. Also, her burst can reset the cooldown on her skill so she kinda sounds like she can be played like an aoe water Fischl as well as DPS.

Unless they add some kind of over-heal mechanic that translates to more damage, healers will always be worse than shielders. Of course, when promoting her I'm sure they'll be adding a bunch of shield negating effects to the abyss.

You'd want 2x millelith 2x the energy recharge set or 2x hydro set. Her healing looks strong enough that maidens is not necessary.

She actually does have an overheal mechanic but it's not very strong.

She may end up not as strong as Xiao or Ayaka, but I feel like with the right gear she can be an incredible immortal char

She's not going to work as a main DPS. Janky built 4 characters will outdps her. Support characters like Xingqiu will outdps her. She's not really even going to work as a subdps. She just has a thing that every once in a while will peg an enemy for 12k damage.

You would do much more damage by using Qiqi and smacking people with a real DPS instead of pot shots with a healer.

Honestly, one of the biggest mistakes MiHoYo made with Bennett is the fact that his damage buff and healing are both in the same field, and they overcompensated for the 70% HP maximum heal by making the healing so strong and rapid that it might as well just be a shield.

BTW C6 Yanfei is a beast. Her 5-Sigil charged attacks are absurd.

To be fair, there are certain things you just can't adjust for before a character comes out. Most people thought Kazuha would be a decent sub DPS, but the huge buff to Swirl and EM turned him into arguably the best Sub DPS in the game (probably tied with Venti, except for slightly different roles)

Normally I agree but it's pretty hard to look at -100% crit and think "I can get some good DPS out of this"

She's a straight upgrade to Barbara so I'm guessing this release is mostly for people who want to run 2 Barbara teams in abyss.

As was discussed on Reddit, there's really two ways of looking at Kazuha.

1. He's worse at suction and damage then Venti. He's worse at buffing then sucrose.
2. He's better than Venti at buffing. He's better than Sucrose at suction and damage.

He's amazing in basically every elemental team comp. What people ultimately realized is that his Ult is basically a melee equivalent of Venti's (it infuses a primary element) which allows for basically any character that can apply an element to integrate into a reaction comp. Tartaglia in a Firenado or Electronado is nutty as hell.

Venti is ass for melee in general but you can make it work with some characters anyway. Eula & Beidou can hit people in the swirl just fine.

Xiao DPS is so fucking stupidly strong I can't believe I ignored him for so long. He's essentially got Kazuha's elemental skill on rapid fire. Jean on the same team makes it so he never has energy or hp problems. His actual skill itself also does so much damage and has a stacking damage buff. I am definitely going to go for Xiao constellations on rerun.
