Bane is almost pure and wonderful, and is a delight to watch for it, despite his comics counterpart being a mastermind almost on Lex Luther's level ~~at least until a recovered Bruce/Batman gets over his own fear and beats Bane in a fight. Entity13 07/22/21 7:31:20 PM #9:	Actually, I have a hypothesis, almost a theory, that the reason so many characters are the way they are is that we're seeing them through the lens of Harley's insane perspective. So there are events that may or may not have happened in that continuity, but we are seeing them and their players in a way that is congruent with how Harley sees them. As for running gags, whether or not they're funny is an "eye of the beholder" sort of thing; though I enjoyed most of them. Here's hoping season 3 is good too. The season 2 finale left us wanting more, which is good, but it was a suitable ending to the show. So hopefully the third season doesn't make us all with we hadn't wanted it.
