It's such an enjoyable show, unlike a certain movie I'd rather not name.

Almost funny, but no.

Bane is almost pure and wonderful, and is a delight to watch for it, despite his comics counterpart being a mastermind almost on Lex Luther's level at least until a recovered Bruce/Batman gets over his own fear and beats Bane in a fight. Then he just falls in line with every other Batman villain who is beaten on the regular.

Actually, I have a hypothesis, almost a theory, that the reason so many characters are the way they are is that we're seeing them through the lens of Harley's insane perspective. So there are events that may or may not have happened in that continuity, but we are seeing them and their players in a way that is congruent with how Harley sees them.

Also: Ivy is a huge mood for me more often than not.

The show is interesting for what it is, but it has a lot of running gags that aren't really funny (and it sometimes goes for some ridiculously virtue-signalling jokes, like how Mr. Freeze's painfully forced comment about cis het white males). I still enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next season.

That line wasn't forced at all and if you took it that way you might need to do some self reflection.

There was a line between Lex and Bane where Bane says something about splosions and Lex says I don't know what the fuck "splosions" are but we do have explosives

I don't even remember the scene or line in question, but I recall most of the show wasn't so forced. As for running gags, whether or not they're funny is an "eye of the beholder" sort of thing; though I enjoyed most of them.

Here's hoping season 3 is good too. The season 2 finale left us wanting more, which is good, but it was a suitable ending to the show. So hopefully the third season doesn't make us all with we hadn't wanted it. That would suck.

Dudes burnt out on Joker plus his wouldn't fit the tone of the show. Alan Tudyk is great.

Is he? I watched a few clips of this show when it was mentioned on here and I didn't really like Alan that much. He's a great actor regardless.

Yeah as far back as Arkham City I think there was some issues around it

That line was painfully forced, and weird in context. If you somehow think it's normal you definitely need to do some self-reflection. I wasn't aware you lived on Tumblr so you think it's just shit people do.

I think it would be distracting, and a little out of keeping

Yeah didn't say anything contrary to that. It was supposed to be his final performance as Joker

Yep. He said it would be his last unless he was called back to do The Killing Joke, which he was. Unfortunately, he was also called back for Arkham Knight, but otherwise that was the end of his time as the Joker, like he wanted.

The game had some issues, and among them was how shoehorned the plot with Joker and people becoming like him felt.
