i mean there's always going to be a new variant and it'll always be resistant to some kind of treatment because that's how it works. you're playing whack-a-mole and are trying to be significantly faster. at this point it's pretty clear everyone's gonna get it at some point or another and the shot should go back to what it always initially was: a way to lessen its impact on the body and lessen spread. after that, we're on to natural immunity after all.

Meanwhile, most of America, vaccinated or not, has pretty much gone back to living their lives. Some people want to continue to wear a mask, okay fine by me, doesn't affect me. Stores are packed and people are out and about and doing things and visiting people and all the things they want to do.

Covid is background noise at this point. I'm glad we can get boosters if we want. I hope some actual super deadly strain doesn't emerge.

WTF is this? Heart complications has always been a (rare) side effect of Covid. It was the whole reason why the AstraZeneca vaccine had that side effect.

This is absolutely false. The only vaccine that comes close is Moderna's vaccine specifically with just heart inflammation and even then it's a 2x higher likelihood with COVID.

So the first article is about the drugs purpose which is to affect acidity in blood/urine. No mention of hearts.

The second is a study done to determine if that effect could prove useful in cases of saving someone in cardiac arrest. It did not.

Neither information is from a "fact checker". These are simply the facts themselves.

It is demonstrably false to call it a heart attack medication.

There is no such thing as natural immunity. You were never immune, it means you got infected.

You also lose those antibodies faster than those produced by vaccination.

A friend from work died from Covid yesterday. He about a week before his death lamented not getting vaccinated, swore off politics which he said caused him not to get vaccinated, and pledged to get vaccinated and to tell everyone else to get vaccinated if he made it through. I feel like shit for multiple reasons regarding it, but mostly because I almost had him convinced to get vaccinated before others at work cemented his choice against it based on political lines.

His family ransacked his house and stole his possessions within an hour of his death. Disgusts me.
