Okay, that was decent, good mix of comedy and action. Much better then the last one, but that bar was rather low.

Pete Davidson as Blackguard, gets his face blown off in the first ten minutes.

Nathan Fillion as TDK, bleeds out when his disembodied arms are shot to death He was too beautiful for this world.

Michael Rooker as Savant, Waller activates the bomb in his head when he tries to desert.

Flula Borg as Javelin, shot to death.

Mayling Ng as Mongal, burned to death in a helicopter crash she caused.

Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, burned to death in a fiery explosion.

Sean Gunn as Weasel, drowns, but pulls through in the end.one of the few people to survive the film also plays Calender Man, but he doesn't really do anything.

And that's just the first fifteen minutes.

I knew Peter Capaldi was going to be The Thinker but I thought it was going to be DeVoe.

That's the first 15 minutes of the movie. IDK, I enjoyed when they did it in deadpool and I enjoyed how James Gunn did it here.

We've know for months (well some of us who have been keeping track) so it was not a surprise to me; I had been speculating how the characters introduced in the trailer were going to bite it, especially Pete Davidson, was not disappointed.

Neither, both, Schroedinger's movie continuity.

It's a stand alone that has some characters from the first reprising their role as their characters but there is no continuity between Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad.

DC has a multiverse, so lets say the first was Earth 1 and this one is Earth Prime.

yeah much better places to get it from theses days, plenty of streaming options too, especially if you are a Prime Wire for entertainment. I just keep the Tortuga reference as a general euphemism for piracy, which is cool and great, and doesn't harm anyone (according to an EU report they commissioned and then tried to have buried when it didn't give them the result they wanted)
