CDPR is releasing patch 1.3 this week, which is gonna be 30gb and fix more stuff(like the minimap while in cars). But still a lot needing done.

Meanwhile, on pc, a huge fan mod is due out soon that fixes a LOT more than CDPR have so far.

Tbqh, this just proves how much of a mistake putting that game on ps4/xb1 was, and how those versions seem to still hold back official fixes 8 fucking months later. The minimap fix alone apparently is more taxing on the system and that had to be factored in for those platforms.

Because the vast majority of copies sold were for ps4/xb1. They literally have no choice but to have those be an important factor for them, and it seems like a lot of the fixes they need to do, require more hardware resources, and thus make things complicated.

They could still be honest and just say it can't be done. Sorry but we hope you get a current gen copy and expierence the game as it was meant to be.

Me personally I had little issue with the game on ps4 outside graphical glitches like someone halfway in a wall or textures not popping in quickly enough. I had some crashes but it paled in conparison to the amount I had with morrowind. And i think i ran into one case where I fell through the ground but the game re spawned me so that was just a minor annoyancem

Not that I'm aware of. CDPR says this new patch will have some AI improvements, but that more would "come soon". Patch notes show some improvements to enemy AI, cop AI, and civilian AI, but I dunno the full extent.

Honestly, the game not only shouldn't have come out on last gen, but also needed another 2-3 years in the oven.

That's what I have. Played fine for me. I dont get all the inconsistent reports avout how well it plays. I know people (and people I personally know I doubt are lying) that tell me of things I never expierenced.

Holy shit this got sooooo much worse. The audio straight up stops working multiple times, or lags. Character model texture loading is so much slower everyone looks like playdough.

Get this. V sleeps sideways on the bed at the beginning again. They fixed that 6 months ago. It's broken again.

Actually FO4 on ps4 was rouuuuugh at launch, it was single digit framerates in the downtown area.

Bethesda games have always consistently been the worst on the Playstation. In the case of games like Fallout 3 you were essentially on a time limit before a given game file became unplayable due to file size; you could partially mitigate that by disabling auto-saves and keeping separate save files that were manually deleted as you went but that only extended the limit.

Yup, same here. I found the workaround being to look straight down so the game doesn't have to render the city as much. Same thing worked when traversing the downtown area. It was wild lol.

If you could recreate that glitch while wearing two Acrobat leg armors you'd survive the fall. It would be a usable alternative to the Scrolls of Icarian Flight from Morrowind.

Lol kotor2 and new Vegas, two of my favorite games too. At least those games' problems were mostly bug related. Cyberpunk has deep issues that go well beyond bugs, they're actual design problems.
