when you consider how hard helly tries to dish it out, its comical to see him to roll over and show me his belly as quickly as he did. literally all it took was saying a girl is better than him at hades and his fragile ego just couldn't take it.

So idk if this topic is actually about the trailer any more, but I've seen a lot of people accusing Strange of acting OOC, and I'd say he's not?

In the first Doctor Strange film, what sets him apart from the rest of the Hogwarts crew is his willingness to break the rules and experiment with dangerous magic. He even learns that the Ancient One was herself experimenting with "dark" magic in secret and concealing that fact from everyone. So it's reasonable that, if he has a strong friendship with Peter (which seems to be the implication) he might use that as an excuse to mess around with stuff. Based on his dialogue with Wong it seems like he may have already been planning to experiment with the Multiverse and Peter was just an excuse.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the trailer is cutting away at key points to have a surprise villain character mess with the ritual and cause the problem, thereby absolving Strange and Peter of guilt somewhat.
