I was just recalling how me and a friend hung out last weekend and she said she wanted Indian food. We drive to a local restaurant thats owned by a friend she knows. For context, the owner has been in love with my friend for a long time, and she actually stopped talking to him for a whole month because of something he said once. They only started communicating again a week prior to the event.

It looked like the place was closed, and two guys doing some kinda stocking delivery claimed the store was closed.

I prepare to drive off, but my friend said dont as she texted the owner. This dude responds in 30 seconds claiming the place is always open for her. Some lady unlocks the restaurant, and we go in to order food to go.

This dude legit walks out and tries to talk to us. After the food arrives and a few minutes pass, my friend does the most transparent lemme pretend to give my card to pay gesture and this dummy eats it up and claims she doesnt have to.

He opens the doors for us as we leave, and I immediately criticize him as we drive off. My friend claims hes just being nice., and I couldnt help but roll my eyes.

How can you purposely try to dismiss using dudes for free food and how can you be so lame to give a girl not interested in you free food from your business?

I let people do what they do, but I cant stop being annoyed by this.

I still got free food too, so whatever. It was delicious. Id do it to if I could tbh. I would own it though.
