I'm hoping it's less buggy on release than Kingmaker was.

It ditches the hidden 'you have instantly failed the game' timers and offers gameplay improvements, so yeah.

You just need your army to fight a demon horde once per week to keep morale high, which lets you purposely drag your feet if you wish.

I have both Pillars games, D:OS1+2, BG2+3, and one or two others, and I'm terrible at all of them. Original Sin 2 being the one I'm the most okay at. I can't see on the maps when exploring, I'm not very good at remembering clues said by people earlier in the game, waypoints have made me lazy in other games, ect.

Probably gonna keep making new characters and playing the intro until I understand what's what.

Yeah, the Pathfinder games(and underlying system) have a lot of info. It's easy to get overwhelmed. Playing in turn-based mode for combat will help with understanding the different types of actions, buffs and debuffs, etc.

I am enjoying it thus far. The character variety you can make it simply astounding. I've started over about five times making a new character. That water elemental in the maze is kicking my ass though. Any advice?

So I grew up playing BG1 and 2. Icewind Dale, Torment. I liked Kotor which seems based on the same basic ruleset.

These pathfinder games have SO MANY RULES. I can barely understand the mechanics of using martial weapon. I remember how mad it made me when I read you can get an extra point of AC from Mobility 3 if you are in defensive stance. What!?!

Then factor in all the bonuses that can apply. It is really hard to understand. I want to play as a Kinetisist but the class is beyond me.

Still bought it today though. For some reason turning into The Swarm That Walks sounds cool as hell to me.

I really want to go legend mythic path, but it seems like very early on in the game it wants you to choose between two.

Im wondering if not choosing either is gonna gimp me until I unlock legend.

I can't get the game to progress past the load screen right after character creation.

got to hosilla with no potions left and the movement speed was like 10% of normal due to encumbrance

I should have just sold everything at the first vendor to avoid the slow movement

You can toggle the movement speed thing in the difficulty settings; unless you're deadset on an achievement or whatever. Shields and armor can be especially heavy and thus ignored. For the most part looting just magic items and the 0.05 weight vendor trash is enough.

It seems like it is an issue with my iGPU.

I have the Intel ,620 whatever that came with my laptop.

The current advice is to disable it, but it's the only fucking one I have.

Is it just not powerful enough? I don't really know anything about computers so I got no advice to give :(

could try getting the latest driver for that igpu

if that doesn't work maybe it just doesn't run on it

It's the absolute minimum, but apparently it's an issue with the thing itself rather than the strength.

I'm guessing, I don't know any more than you.

I've checked and updated the driver's license twice.

Yeah I'm trying not to toggle the difficulty. I guess I'll just leave some of the heavier items lying around.
