There are some good songs for sure, but there is a lot of trash on that album, definitely overrated. I am much more of a Dookie fan

Its not going to make many Best Album lists, sure, but its by no means a bad album. When I saw them on this tour they were very good, as well. Played every song on the album as well as pretty much every song off of International Superhits, brought local musicians up on stage as guests, all around were great and put on a great and entertaining performance.

I absolutely love the Album. Most people ITT have bad taste.
The title song American Idiot has inarguably aged like fine wine. The entire album is still way too relevant. --- just tell them all your base doesn't belong to us because we were getting stoned...they'll understand-Ken156 ... Copied to Clipboard!

A fantastic album that's only disliked because they didn't stick with the formula that was ultimately making them irrelevant and stale
