I could not. I just can't look past someone believing in magic and comic book powers and stuff >_>

Also, if they believe fantastical things like a god or gods exist, they could work backwards from that to justify anything <_<

I almost wanna say they skeeve me out

I'm not quite atheist, but I've since mostly given up on religion. I could only date a religious person if they weren't pushy and obnoxious about it.

interesting that you asked the mods and not the gods for help.

I'm married to a practicing Catholic. With that said, she's not too crazy in love with her religion so we still get along. I have enough knowledge about the bible to impress her family when they ask me to say prayer. The only pain in the ass is going with her to Sunday masses and the priest sucks at giving homily's or says one that doesn't interest me.

Discuss it
Bring me to church
Impose it on our kids

I'm in all the way.

Like go out on a date with or date long term? Someone might misunderstand you TC >_>;

I'd give it a shot but it depends on what they are like. I was into a Christian girl when I was in uni, and while she wasn't really into me we did get along at a surface level, so I wouldn't say it's impossible.

My girlfriend is weird navajo/catholic. She's definitely not practicing, but she definitely has some interesting little idiosyncrasies and is surprisingly prudish.

If they aren't pushy about it, sure. I identify as Agnostic for the most part, but one of my best friends is a born again Christian that wants to become a pastor. He leaves me alone when it comes to religion, so we get along great.

Isn't agnostic a descriptor of your position, not a position itself? Like agnostic atheist or agnostic theist

I'm agnostic atheist in that I don't believe in any religion but I won't say for sure that there's nothing out there at all bigger than what we know

Flat out agnostic is more of "I dunno, don't really care" I think

Nope. My first gf called me crying because they talked about revelations in Bible study and was scared of markings of the beast. She was like how come theyre fulfilling prophecies with microchips and such. I told her not everyone believes that stuff. I was shortly done after that.

I think I could, but it would leave me a bit on edge. Id be worried about upsetting them, and I would feel uncomfortable if I was expected to be involved in any religious stuff.

Yeah. Agnosticism refers to whether or not you believe the existence of gods is knowable, so it doesnt really answer the theism/atheism question. Ive met both agnostic theists and agnostic atheists.

Basically, it depends on how devout she is. I'm not going to church or changing my beliefs for anyone, and I'd rather not argue about crap like that either.

Agnosticism is believing that we have no way of knowing whether God/Gods exist. You can think that, but still believe in God (Agnostic Theist) or not believe (Agnostic Atheist), but you don't have to lean one way or the other. You can also be in a sort of "I don't know" in the middle.
