How bad of a person must someone be for it to be ok to maintain criticism once they're gone?










With so many anti-vaxxers dying of covid, and the mixed reactions people have to it, I was wondering where people draw the line of "ok" in regards to speaking ill of the dead.

If it's okay to speak ill of them while they're alive, then it's okay to speak ill of them when they're dead. Although once someone is dead it's a lot healthier to move on with your life instead of dwelling on them.

I would say its bad to speak ill of them around those who cherished them.

Exceptions like being an evil PoS not included.
