It would flow to the floor, you would wake up, etc. I had to patch mine growing up a couple times but never felt like it would be possible to drown. As to the topic, no fucking chance. Fast forward quite some time after they got divorced, and I was given the waterbed, since it was a cheaper option than buying a whole new bed. It was a neat novelty to have for a bit, but overall, the support isnt there, and it can get really warm at night, since underneath the covers, its essentially a rubber bladder that holds the water. You can jump on the bed next to someone and theyd feel it, but no feelings of capsizing like with the earlier mattresses. I don't think it was as big/happened frequently as the news coverage made a big deal out of it. The only thing that can be really compared to tide pod is eating some other toxic consumable or something to do with lead or mercury exposure. --- Less is more. The first time I started getting laid regularly was in a water bed and you can just sorta push your knees into the mattress and let it do some of the work and push her up (missionary anyways).
