The japanese version is better at keeping its momentum. The english version starts off stronger, but falls off a tiny bit late.

it's an absurd whiplash shifting right from listening to metroid dread ost over and over all day and jumping to this brand of pso2 just now. like dystopian future -> optimistic future. last operation feels like the things i like about the composition style of particularly fukuyama and horita and i might've guessed this was horita if i didn't know. its so small but it doesn't need anything more to energize my beams

i wish i could decouple the "cotn" association, but i am glad i get the "umbrellaphone" (joshua cottam) association from that particular funny voice man. i think i can't perceive the Epic as much as i would if it were not there ; anyways this song is the notes in it that i like because it's a pso2 song ; what a strange match (length of ideas in material contrast

this is prettyt hard on the end of most normal pso songs because it sounds like elton john like soimeones grandpa would listen to this when they're sitting in the middle of a football field and are the only person in the football field and they are rocking on a rocking chair made out of wood

Colossal Machinery ~ Big Varder {Kenichi Tokoi} has some really crazy piano chords to start off but these ones aren't being played by elton john they are being played by "illusion of hidekuni horita" and also lots of those wacky parallel strings lines that sound like [the future] even tho it's an old instrument like the violin. it's so good at that, the jetsons.

Last Operation's intro sound like something from the Blue Reflection OST, but then it hits you with a pretty juicy riff. Most hype of the songs today.

EXTREMELY LOUD TRUMPET sample, my vgm arch-nemesis, we meet again. Mierno is complete and constant sensory overload. It's like that trumpet boy meme in audio form. And then that weird ass opera sample again, but cut and pasted together like it's some 2008 YTPMV. I actually kinda like this, in an ironic sort of way.

Eternal Encore is kind of amazing in that the English singer sounds very, very close to the Japanese singer. I'd rank both of these versions the same actually.

Big Varder could do with being cut shorter. Techno beat here that's not terribly memorable.
