When James said the dude did it all himself in midlife crisis mode and was like "I WANNA FUCKIN MAKE A MOVIE" I was like holy shit this speaks to me. I've been obsessing over my final destination ideas lately and I'm 15 months shy of 40 and have been feeling midlife crisis-y since before the pandemic but like even more so since. I'm not familiar with dark web, but I know there is movie called Unfriended: Dark Web (sequel to Unfriended). Is that what you're talking about? I did watch the first one. I actually had to watch it twice because I was fucked up the first time and the gritty found footage thing... I just couldn't follow it lol. I did like it more on 2nd watch when it made sense. VHS '94... not sure if I am familiar with that. I do remember a movie called VHS, also found footage type. I was actually kinda impressed with the acting (spoiler warning even though spoiler tags already since I'm not certain we're even talking about the same movie here >_>) (especially ~~the creepy girl fucking vampire? whatever? I don't even know... and the dude she ripped the junk off of. iirc his buddy was a prick but he was just kinda drunk party guy and played it really well~~) --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything. I actually had to watch it twice because I was fucked up the first time and the gritty found footage thing... I just couldn't follow it lol. I did like it more on 2nd watch when it made sense. VHS '94... not sure if I am familiar with that. I do remember a movie called VHS, also found footage type. I was actually kinda impressed with the acting (spoiler warning even though spoiler tags already since I'm not certain we're even talking about the same movie here >_>) (especially the creepy girl fucking vampire? whatever?
