In my experience, YES.

Of course, the first 4K TV I got was a Sony LED and it was actually kind of garbage. Developed a bad case of dirty screen effect and it honestly never wowed me no matter how I tweaked the settings (based off of rtings). It was also a 3D TV too so idk if that had anything to do with it.

But my OLED is absolutely gorgeous and Im soooo glad I went with it after the Sony crapped out on me.

oled individual pixels right up instead of having the back light light up the tv so if its a black screen you wont get that glow from the back light

OLEDs use less power and provide deeper blacks.

On the other hand, they are prone to burning in which can leave a permanent image on the screen if a static element is displayed for a long time (such as a HUD in a video game).

I wouldn't say they're "prone" to burn-in. That implies it's definitely gonna happen, just a matter of when. It certainly CAN happen, but it's highly unlikely when used normally.

This is why gamers should get a QLED TV instead. The picture is slightly worse than an OLED, but no fear of burn in

I know someone that still has a plasma tv. Its not too bad for a 10 yr old set but there is some burn in from game screens that were left on.
