The vocal songs together are greater than the sum of the parts, idk. Vacuity is fine alone but I didn't love As One, but the dramatic chorus of As One works really well as a climax to Vacuity.

i love whatever trance thing calamity border is doing. the percussion loop seems very simple and yet it ties all of the weird factory noises into something coherent somehow. even tked likes this! i'm still smacking myself for not including any of the ultra hard themes though WHY AM I SO DUMB I WANT TO REMOVE GATHERING OF LIGHT AND REPLACE IT WITH ONE AND DO A REMATCH

i am very afraid when i listen to music because i know it is likely that i will miss a song ill grow to like so sometimes im compelled to listen to old things over and over again so i know ive found everything i have listened to this soundtrack three times in full i am sick. anyway i discovered this song not from listening to the soundtrack but in some random fucking EP 6 cutscene taking place here and i went "WHOA this song is cool is this the Superior version when did this get so cool!?" and theni realized i was just dumb and it was always this cool. bongo.

i also slept on these songs even harder. dante was talking about Challenge Mode music and I was lamenting that Tokoi didnt get more songs because the Stand By and Mission 1 by him were great. Dante agreed, and said that he liked this one even more "for being so unrepentantly Fukuyama' or something and i listened and said "WHOA this song is cool when did this get so cool!?" and theni realized i was just dumb and it was always this cool. rising edge.
