there was no good reason for him to be running around with an AR15. Hes probably gonna get off when it comes to most charges but its plainly obvious that hes got a childlike mindset when it comes to police and authority figures, and he wanted to play the part of a hero and put himself in a situation where he had justification to start shooting people.

Just because the MAGA Judge says that the video of Rittenhouse staking out a grocery store the week prior to shooting someone, and saying that he wish he had his AR with him so that he could shoot an alleged shop lifter cant be submitted into evidence doesnt mean I have to pretend it didnt happen.

They havent. But they also better grow some balls before GOP law makers start to pass state laws like:

-Voting must be done in person with 5 forms of ID.
-There will be one voting location for the entire State, and itll be open between the hours of 9:51am and 9:53am.
-Feeding, talking to, looking at and/or smelling anyone on the voting line will be a class A Felony

I think its ok to ask for some kind of reasonable ID when people vote, just as long as it can be anything of a reasonable nature that is a photo ID that identifies them as the actual person registered to vote.

But the right gives the game away when they do things like pass legislation that recognizes NRA membership cards as valid voter ID but bars things like Student IDs from counting

and really if some people just dont have an ID because they lost it or just on fucking hard times, they get to do a provisional vote, but conservatives spend untold amounts of money and counter messaging to try to keep people from knowing about things like that

My state passed a voter id law and then started closing down places where people can get a free id for the purposes of voting. The majority of the places closed just happened to be in areas more likely to vote for a certain party's candidates. They still can obtain those ids, there just located in areas that are much further away with poor access to public transportation. But hey, at least hunting licenses are completely valid as a form of id (but not the ids from my state's university system).

He was appointed by a democrat governor in 1983

I think that voting should only be in person unless the citizen is overseas. Do it like other countries with an actual voter identification card.

that is for the jury to decide, not you. one of the people was flat on their back when he fired the fatal shot.

and even if he only defended himself there is still a lot that needs to be addressed about every decision he made that night leading up to the shooting.

No that is a Reddit meme. But regardless, the prosecutor was dumb enough to try assert that because Kyle plays violent video games he was prone to violent behavior in real life, which Kyle dismissed pretty quickly. I mean 300 kills in Call of Duty is nothing

I'd argue that it depends on total number of games. 300? Not that great. 30? Pretty brutal? 7? Ouch.

I score about 25 kills a match in team deathmatch & each match lasts about 8 minutes, so it would take me a little more than hour, closer to two to achieve this.

I mean him crying in court just displays human emotion.

Usually the story is "oh they aren't sorry they are just sorry because they were caught". Or "something something crocodile tears". So if it's obvious that he's getting off easy, maybe the guy actually has remorse that he had to shoot three people.

There are some people, mainly the right, that will say, He didnt do anything illegal. He was exercising his rights. But regardless of legality their are things you just dont do.

id say its just as much of a reason as anyone there that night. everyone had weapons, those who wernt decked out seemed to be hurling the most threatening comments and you can also say were intimidating in their own way by trying to start fires. by all visual evidence that we've seen it seemed like kyle was the LEAST threatening person in that group with how he was acting, what he was and wasnt saying, how he was dressed and how he tried to defuse the situation once he was in it. that might of actually been why he was targeted, he was seperated and seemed less imposing to actually take advantage of. just having a gun isnt legal grounds for provocation in doing what happened especially in an open carry state and especially when everyone else was armed as well.

as far as him being remosful in killing two people? i honestly doubt it. his mom said hed do it again given the circumstances which given what happened within the moment is a realistic take. i think he broke down by the total culmination of everything he was presented with and everything that might happen to his life and future while be blasted by the prosecution which is never an easy thing to combat.

People are still repeating this argument as if it has merit lol. The city he traveled from was righr on the border. But also, it doesn't matter where he traveled from. Could've been alabama. That has no bearing on whether or not it was self defense. I'm sure plenty of the folks there weren't from that town
