This seems a lot like a "I hope she'll see how much I like her and like me back" move. I mean, I guess the alternative is maybe you really are just a chill guy that spends money on people you like. Do you also buy your friends GamePass subscriptions, Netflix, dinner, etc? If you do that with friends you are close to, then it really is just who you are and that's fine (and awesome).
