Whether it's because you got them on that holiday or your played them on that holiday and it was super memorable or the game takes place during that holiday whatever it is. Some of these for me are really weird and hyper specific.

New Years Day - Devil May Cry 4
Birthday - Jaws (NES)
Easter - Super Mario Bros. 3
Halloween - Castlevania the Adventure remake (WiiWare)
Thanksgiving - Donkey Kong Country
Christmas - Final Fantasy Legend II
New Years Eve - Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil 2

I tried to think if I have a strong game related memories to any other holidays but not really

If I did, I'd feel obligated to play them during those holidays every year, and I definitely don't have any rituals like that.

Snow day - warcraft 2
Christmas break/new years - escape velocity: override
Summer break - pokemon
Visiting my cousins - Zelda & star fox
Thanksgiving - avatar TV show
Halloween - not playing video games, we're getting candy

Haven't gone back to replay these ever, it's more like when I think of the game I think of the time I played them

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

Yeah specifically Thanksgiving. I have strong memories of two years in particular when I was a kid.

1. Playing a ton of Pilotwings 64 before the Thanksgiving Parade

2. A few days after Thanksgiving, playing Chrono Trigger and FF6 on a computer for the first time while we ate Thanksgiving leftovers and watched a car auction.

Also Christmas of 96 will forever be the N64 Christmas of Mario, Pilotwings, and Wave Race.

Just my initial two N64 games with Christmas. And Secret of Mana with 4th of July for some reason.

It's tempting to linger in this moment, while every possibility still exists. But unless collapsed by an observer, they will never be more than possibilities.

Nebulously. Its more partitioned by months than holidays.

Early December is for Megaman classic, for when I got chickenpox on the same day as Megaman 3.
Mid December is usually simulation games. Harvest Moons, Stardew Valley, Rune Factory, the like.
Christmas to New Years is usually coop online stuff, since I used to go to a mini LAN as a New Years party.

January through March is whatever, fighting games, and backlog catchup, though this year its gonna be Endwalker stuff.

Halloween time is whatever online thing has the most compelling FOMO items.

Only Christmas really. Pokmon Snap because I played it a lot around Christmas one year, plus Elebits and Miles Morales for being set during Christmas.

Spider-Man 3 (PS2)
Jet Moto

Associate them both with Christmas. Spider-Man because it was actually a Christmas present and Jet Moto I purchased again on Christmas day. Played loads of them that day.

Saints Row IV. During my year of teacher training in 2013, I played it to death over Christmas break; still have fond memories of the soundtrack. Helped me unwind a bit I suppose.

Christmas I kinda think of Final Fantasy VI and Super Metroid. In terms of gifts that was by far the best Christmas I ever had, the year I got those two.

Christmas - Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and Sonic Spinball. If I smell a Christmas tree I want to play these games. Also strongly associate Final Fantasy IV with Christmas shopping bc of a year when I went around the city doing my Christmas shopping after work and then played FFIV Advance on my Game Boy micro on the subway ride home.

Thanksgiving - Chrono Trigger DS, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Sonic Unleashed, and Tomb Raider Underworld. On Thanksgiving 2008, my partner had to work, so we celebrated on Friday and I spent actual Thanksgiving at home by myself playing these games (the latter two were just demos).

New Year's Eve - Mega Man 3 and Metal Gear Solid. Various years, I spent the last several hours before midnight playing these games, or in the case of MM3, drawing the characters in the manual during the hours I wasn't allowed to monopolize the TV.

As a kid I was once playing Mega Man X in the morning before people arrived on Thanksgiving and somehow that's stuck in my mind ever since. It wasn't even my first time playing it. That's my only association of a game with a holiday besides Christmas. Lots of games I associate with Christmas, with OoT and FFMQ probably being the two strongest.

my brother and I started a tradition of listening to the full Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity OST every Christmas (since it's definitely an ice/winter-y themed game and does fit the mood, and we're both big fans of the music to that particular pmd game especially). so absolutely that.

I associate Christmas with Elite Beat Agents. I got the game for Christmas, and when I got to the stage "A Christmas Gift" it seemed so perfect and wonderful it stuck with me for a long time.
