Eh, you never know. I didnt think I did well either but they came back with an offer for me a few months ago. I turned them down though. I honestly didnt like the interview experience. They kept asking me stupid brain teasers that had nothing to do with my experience then tried to low ball me in the offer.

Did they ask you stupid brain teaser stuff too?

Well they asked me several of them and I was interviewing for a recruiter job lol

Yeah I mostly just lurk here now. Ive been busy but good. Juggling a new full time job, baby, moving, etc. Its been a lot these last few months tbh

Better luck next time, TC. Congrats for making it that far though.

I got an "offer" from Google until right as they were about to give me it they realized they had the position wrong. They wanted a Senior Engineer instead of a Level 4 engineer and didn't realize the mistake until the very end. Went through 8 interviews for a position I didn't meet the requirements for technically lol.

They have a hiring panel that reviews all the feedback. They can take a long time. Its very possible that they come back and say they want another session. Thats what they did to me. Good luck, hope you hear some good news.

Im guessing it was a call to tell you you didnt get it. A lot of people actually get upset at email rejections that far into things, so most recruiters are required to call everyone who made it to final rounds. Google is notorious for never providing any feedback either.

Im sorry it didnt work out. But keep your chin up. Most people dont ever make it that far. They are one of the most selective companies in the world. And its worth trying again in 1-2 years.
