You could grind it, marinade it, and form Slim Jim-esque sticks with it, but it wouldn't be "jerky"

I work in slaughterhouse and I dont know how its pronounced. Somehow every time the veterinarian says it I just brain dump the info.

Im a fan of liver myself. Never tried haggis. I know in some places its not uncommon to eat brain but I personally just find that too disturbing and Ive read about it can be especially risky as far as things like parasites and prions are concerned.

I checked on Amazon and the prices are like 3x more expensive than my local store... which I already thought was too expensive!!!

I haven't checked the local butchery though, but I think they only have raw animal that gets packaged for local businesses and no actual cooked stuff of their own.

idk how or why, but beef jerky really energizes me!!!

Anyways:

What do you guys pay for good meat? I get hamburger at about 1 cent per gram, but tasty jerky is like 10cents per gram which is very very out of my price range
