The multiplayer is just fantastic. It executes the fundamentals better than any FPS I've played since, well, Halo 3. And it runs/looks great.

Put twenty hours in and havnt touched it for a week. But I agree. It's definitely something I enjoy and lot. Need to get back into the flow with it. Heck ive already studied weapon spawns with it.

Yeah I haven't been interested in multiplayer for a long time but Halo is pulling me back in. It's just a lot of fun. Even if I'm very rusty compared to my Halo 2 and 3 days lol.

Big Team Battle is chaos that isnt fun for me and 4v4 seems so small for friends.

But it does have a decent foundation, even though theyve turned into EA with the micro transactions they have in the game.

It's currently winning the fan vote on the Game Awards which is pretty surprising honestly.

It feels like things are overall looking up. The big teething part will probably be early to mid next year until they release season 2. I don't know if they have enough to set up a good momentum for that long.

That weapon spawn location thing reminds me so much of the glory days of arena shooters (Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament)

Infinite has been fun but the matchmaking keeps putting me and my friends in some crazy ass matches with the sweatiest of sweats.

The bot mode does wonders for learning the weapon and equipment spawns. Such a good addition and makes the multiplayer feel a little less intimidating.

Setting up a private 1v8 bot mode is surprisingly fun heh. I get to see medals and AI comments I usually wouldn't be able to achieve lol
