i have work tomorrow. when i get back home, i have to take care of my son. the weekends are the only time i get to play

my server or wahtever has a 8000 queue. this morning at 8am it took 2 hours to get in with a 1000 queue

fucking hell im going back to WoW.

What server are you on? On Ultros you get in quickly at 7 or 8 in the AM. It definitely is unfortunate that the servers are fucked

Hit level 90 trial, now sitting in what might be a forever queue.

Girlfriend got home, got a server error, then wound up back at the bottom of the queue. Got in after 2 hours, and then her internet crapped out.

I guess my decision of "I'm just gonna play Immortals Fenyx Rising until the server issue blows over" is the best approach. But I do feel really bad for her because she's more stoked about EW than I am and feels left behind from her friends

I started a few months ago as a Paladin. I got through the MSQ, Heavensward, and about half of Stormblood very quickly I realized how burnt out I was, and no matter how much I actually wanted to play I was just miserable trying to grind more. However, I had the new expansion preordered. So I tried just doing "fun things" in game to break up the MSQ grind. That worked for a little before I started hating it again.

So I took a break. With 60 some days before EW was to launch I decided I'd take a little while and still have time to grind out the rest of the story. A week turned into two, which turned into 30 days, which turned into 60 days.

I randomly resubbed Saturday. Why? Because I saw the names of the first two dungeons of the new expansion. It was what I wanted when I heard we are going "to the moon." I'll probably start playing in the next day or two again.

They've already addressed this. You can't bypass it.

sure you can, the game considers any key input as activity, so a simple key repeater that presses virtually any key (even one that isn't bound to any action) at less than 30 minute intervals will keep you logged in indefinitely, provided that the server doesn't crash or you don't disconnect for other reasons

anyway, just finished MSQ, also did all of the sidequests on the way. the story and its presentation is without a doubt the best they've done so far, un-fucking believably good

Today I am learning the joys for 3001 errors, which is basically the game flipping you off and saying you aren't even allowed into a login queue.

Log in servers went down for emergency maintenance and they said it wouldn't affect those already logged in, but I got disconnected the second it went down.

What time zone are you in? I know they're doing an emergency maintenance tomorrow but not today I think

They did it on the log in server this morning for 30 minutes. The next maintenance is scheduled.

Nice. The POTD scythe was a good idea. I've seen others use it. Just got my reaper to 80

I'm not far into the story of EW (only level 81) but the mechanics they're doing make the main story feel even more like a single player rpg

Got up to the level 87 dungeon but have to wait until after work to actually do it. This story is so damn good. Endwalker is definitely the best expansion yet, assuming they don't season 8 the ending.

I'm not even in Heavensward lol. I just beat ARR a few days ago and I'm going through all the hard mode dungeons and stuff now.

Also, wasn't losing your spot in the queue after being kicked supposed to get fixed? My friend said he's still losing his spot but I haven't had that issue luckily.

I've never lost my spot if I quickly get back to the queue. They were suppose to fix the errors kicking people out of the queues but they didn't I guess.

I'm so happy they finally have a ton of FFIV references here. Even (Major spoilers for 5th area) the Maenads and Creator from The After Years represented by Meteion and Hermes. I had been curious if that would be included.

I've tried using an autoclicker to keep spawning my amaro or casting Holy, but neither of these worked lol

I set up a macro on my keyboard to hit a key every 10 minutes and it has been working. It's a Logitech one with built-in macro support though.

I haven't heard the CGI intro in-game but I feel like the audio mixing has gotten better tbh.

I was doing Praetorium the other day and could actually hear what Lahabrea was saying in the fight. I can also hear my character's voice more.

On the other hand, I did run into a glitch where all sound cut off and I had to log out to fix it

The voices in the CG are fine for me
