So I don't actually get to control the Stand?

That seems like if you played as the reporter in Bayonetta instead of, you know, Bayonetta >_>

Think of it more like a leashed creature that is used as an extension of your combat.

You do, but it's a weird dual control thing. You hold a button and can move it instead of your main character, tell it to attack, etc. You get tons more options as the game progresses.

Just keep playing, you'll figure it out.

You usually cant control it. The goal is to send it out, let it do whatever, and sync up when the little blue flash happens. THEN you guys will start syncing together and combat starts to click. Its all about syncing up with the blue light.

Eventually. Not sure how far you're in but at around mission 3 you get to do some cool sync-up combos with the Legions that greatly expand your combat ability.

It has more in common with wonderful 101 than Bayonetta though its still that platinum style
