It's a perfect finale, and it ties the series together in so many satisfying ways that I believe it to be the single most gratifying story experience in video games. It may have some minor hiccups, but by golly is it a joy to play through. It does require a sense of strong attachment to the previous games for maximum impact, though. You can't just blast through the series and love MGS4 as much as I do. There has to be a connection, a feeling of investment, maybe even nostalgia. MGS4 > 1 > 3 > 2 >>>>>>>>>...>>>V In terms of story, that's my ranking ^ Gameplay wise, they get better in order of release dates. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. It may have some minor hiccups, but by golly is it a joy to play through. It does require a sense of strong attachment to the previous games for maximum impact, though. You can't just blast through the series and love MGS4 as much as I do. There has to be a connection, a feeling of investment, maybe even nostalgia.
