Sandman

1) why does he fight the Spideys at the end he just wants to go see his daughter. If anything he's so OP due to being sand he should be able to just create a sand finger extension of his dust storm form to hit the button on the box whenever and go back to his realm.

2) Why does he need cured? He was never in danger of dying and being Sandman is just like being a human but safer isn't it? He has a human form but mortal wounds just turn him to sand temporarily.

The whole goblin speech got to him, I suppose. Seeing his "gift" more important than anything...including his daughter

Yeah, it made no sense. They shouldve sent him back immediately since he doesnt even die in SM3.

One part I don't get is why electro got backstabbed by Dr. He knew dr was cured so why would he fight beside him when he was just about to kill a spiderman?

Sandman thought they were trying to kill him. His appearance suggests that his condition was deteriorating since SM3.

The kickers are the high school celebrity sequence, and realizing that they are potentially sending Tobey to his death at the hands of Venom. Either that or his Mary Jane could die, even if Harry shows up to save the day in the same way again. Really weird movie btw

1. He's fighting the Spidey's to get access to the box to press the button. He doesn't care about curing the others and just wants to go back. He's on his own in the final battle.

2. He seemed stuck in the sand form so I think his condition got worse after 3. Maybe he even died not long afterwards.

He still has his robo arms so probably thought he changed his mind on his own.

Nah, both Spider-Mans were pulled from way after their respective movies. It was just the villains who were pulled mid-battle.

My one beef with No Way Home is there does seem to exist a way home.

I really loved the movie but it definitely has a lot of, "but... hey! Why would...!?" thoughts after you stop and think about it.

He's definately one of the characters where his motivation seems to change everytime or something.

Ehh. I thought it was consistent.

His only real goal was to get to his own universe to see his daughter. You can tell when he's talking to Electro that he already doesn't care about curing everybody, but decides to stick around for lack of better options.

Then when shit hits the fan, he just backs out and later on tries to take the box by force. He's not really "with" the other villains, it's more that he's trying to get the box along with them, but for different reasons.

I doubt that. After that speech happened he just kinda "noped" out of there with no reaction
