I have many friends and family with babies and I don't think I can recall any of them trying to do this kinda shit where they think their 3 year old is already a woke Albert Einstein. Do you know any parents that are actually like this?

Most of the time, they start bragging about their baby's iq in the 2nd or 3rd trimester.

People are so much more entertaining when they talk about the dimb shit their kids or animals do. This chick probably says a lot of stuff where all you can really say after is a forced "That's so cute". Then you just wait for someone to say something more engaging

Parents live for this shit, especially "social media parents" who focus their whole existence around their online following.

We live in a generation where actual adults canceled an adoption because they were told they wouldn't be allowed to put the child up on social media for at least a year. You better believe that some parents are making up whatever they want about their kids for cheap attention and validation because they have nothing else going on in their life.

Well I for one am happy I dunno anyone IRL who does this kinda shit.

We do the opposite. We like to dunk on our nephew for how dumb he is.

I think my daughter is clever for her age since she seems to have some pretty good vocab and comprehension skills for being 2 (she still says dumb things because she's a toddler as well though but that's part of her charm) but yeah I don't brag about it to other people. Especially not on social media like this. She also doesn't say wise things like that either. Like I am impressed that she understands the plot of a Bananas in Pyjamas episode and that's enough for me. She isn't going to say terms or things unless she has learned them from someone.

I also recognize that I am biased.

My 3 year old actually created a cure for Covid. But silly me accidentally threw it away when cleaning his room. He's so much smarter than me.

Babies/kids are a lot smarter than given credit for. Im always amazed by the little things my girl picks up so quickly. But no, whatever the fuck that is thats hot garbage.

I'd say It kind of devalues your child's actual accomplishments by setting a fake bar they can't actually reach. Why aren't they just satisfied with the realistic growth their kid has? :/

I like to brag about how smart my cat is.

Yesterday he opened the deadbolt on an exterior door trying to get outside when we locked him in. If his paws were capable of working the knob he would be unstoppable.

My six-month-old just lamented that "you can't re-live your glory days, you can only re-lose them." Then he shat himself and cried.

My parents used to brag to everyone how I could read and write when I was 2. Not sure if they were lying or what
