City is probably the most solid one. Knight had the best combat (although the Batmobile was used too much), but Origins had the best boss fights.

I recently platinumd it during quarantine. And yeah it gets unnecessary hated on. Same with Origins. I love origins.

No it wasn't. The typical story combat/stealth sections were great but they made up far too little of the game. Half the game was repetitive batmobile combat and open-world bloat.

City.

It is the only game of the series, where it's score rating got top billing on the cover over the actual title of the game.

Havent played Knight, but I can say of the first three games City is the best overall. Asylum was very atmospheric and creepy, and Origins was decent. I found timing the counter function in Origins to be a bit finicky at times and sometimes it wouldnt work when it should have, but they had Deathstroke.
