Ugh just barely! Even with a Dual Awakening Gladiolus is hard to use because he's so friggin' SLOW! Ardyn is still my FF15 MVP because his ultra is so freaking good and those instant ATBs from his sync when he's wounded.

Im gonna be taking on Vs DK as soon as I finish farming dark crystals to R5 Kelgers HA; debating whether lensing Bartzs AA1 instead of a USB is worth it to go along with his SA2 (I probably dont need it to beat the DK, but might need it for the sub-30). It would also get Bartz onto my phys earth team over Biggs and probably give me a KS win? I have 9150 level 4 lenses right now; the main downside would be that Im still missing a gen 2+ chain on like 7 teams.

I kind of screwed up in P1 (could have gotten Galufs BDL up a turn earlier if I had flicked off wait mode for a second for him to get hit), but he actually ended up having a couple turns out of wing wall with his sync and awakening overlapping so it worked out. I also got a few lucky wcasts on Bartz letting me break kings rage a turn early.

This was definitely a slog towards the end. I made the mistake of using Agrias and TGCs Syncs during the first chain, then AASBs later. Probably shouldve reversed the order on those. Ramzas AOSB hit for 77k per hit, which was nice. Elarra and Tyro died right at the end, and thankfully TGC got off an OSB with Odin at 0.2% to kill (though I think him and Agrias still had last stand).

4/16 done on main (both earth weaks and holy weaks). I seem to be set far better for support with magic teams though.

I usually use a single sync for the first chain (sync first because the infusion will last partway into the second chain and only one because its typically enough and I want to minimize BDL time being eaten by the aegis).

Thats a pretty solid plan actually. I think I staggered a sync and awakening for first chain, and the same for the second chain. For magic dark weak, will be interesting though, as Ultimecia as her DAASB, dark Sync, and AASB. Combining her DAASB with her sync looks pretty bonkers, if Im reading the descriptions right. Especially the first two turns of the sync.

Yeah as I understand it combining syncs and duals is usually the way to go since it'll triplecast the sync command and then still cast the linked ability (though there's a bit of a tradeoff since sync commands are typically a bit weaker than HAs)

I put Ultimecia in the bottom slot so shed eat the 4-hit attack, as she needs the gauge. Totally forgot about wall, as Im used to bringing fabula mage, so that 4 hit move did like, 9k in total lol.

This is the first Odin where I totally avoided the slot 2/4 dying mechanic. Why? Because holy shit is Ultimecias combo busted. First move after casting her sync (with DAASB already up) was a quint cast C1, with her HA as a chase. The last 3 casts were all 30k per hit. He was in the midst of counting down to argent zantetsuken and it pushed him into the 40s%, where he jumped in rage every couple percent, so that worried me initially. But her and emperor pushed him under 30% before he could cast anyway. Super close to a sub30, but not worried about that for Odins.

5/16 done, and this is one Ill definitely remember for the missions when they come back!

Huh, realized that I had killed Physical Alex, but not Magic Alex. Whoops.

Same team as above, but put Ultimecia in slot 3 this time. Absentmindedly took fabula mage (and never used it lol) instead of wall, and Kuja got murdered by a laser. Brought him back a bit later with Elarra AASB, dropped his chain, and went on a rampage. The first two turns of Ultimecia's Sync, while still under DAASB, are so unfair lol.

That's 13/16 6* magicites done, with only magic Shiva, magic Valefor, and Physical Diabolos left. Will kill Alex 3 more times to get my second version of him, and gotta go back and kill Ifrit another 2 times because apparently I only have a lvl 65 as my second copy.

I dreamed Caits AASB but I havent tried him out on WOdin yet; I wonder if I can get a 3BDL clear since Cait has an aegis counter?

My best shot would probably be magic lightning; not sure whether it would be better to lens a chain for Desch (AA1, LBO) or Garnet (AA2), though. Maybe Ill get lucky and get Ashes dual on the next banner in which case it should be an easy win!

How many magic Odins you got left? I have Cait's AASB honed, and yeah, it's been pretty great. I just have him spam AcM.

My remaining Odins are (by weakness) phys holy, mag lightning, earth, and fire, and bio

I have no multiple BDL characters for any of those besides 1.5 for WoL (and the only chains are Vivi and Tellahs 2.5 chains with no BDL for either of them). And then for bio I have literally only Kefkas dyad so thats not happening any time soon!

New labyrinth and Nexus boss tomorrow! FF12- apparently this Nexus boss is the easiest yet because he doesn't use the 5 second wall Dragonking Bahamut and other Nexuses uses so you can go ham with your cap breaks.

Team I'm thinking is Vaan (sync1/both awakenings) Vayne (sync/awakening 1) Fran (sync/both awakenings/glint+/LBO) Larsa (awakening and crit damage up USB) and Orran. I'd like to go mage but FF12 doesn't have a third mage DPS... Though maybe I can slap gathering storm on Fran for imperils and let Ashe go ham?

This isn't one of the labyrinths I'm especially excited for, but I'm glad we're moving one step further to getting to the better ones, especially wind 2 and fire 2.

Balthier and Fran are automatic since they have multiple cap breaks, then it's either Vaan with just AASB1 or try to run a mixed team for Ashe's sync2+awakening.

Hrm, having some second thoughts about pulling on the banner... I only have 149 mythril right now and while Id really like the Ashe and Vaan stuff, the banner is like half Reks (for whom I have nothing) and only has two duals.

Right now my XII team is just Vaan AA2, Ashe SA2, and Vayne AA1... hopefully thatll be enough to take out the easy mode at least? (Could also sub out Vayne for Fran with AA2).

Died twice because I didnt have enough gauge to use Caits USB to clear sap before going into P2 without putting him in slot 5, but it does seem that double Moogles is pretty insane! Got my magic dark-weak WOdin clear down to 25:30 from like 37.X.

I don't know exactly what your needs are but I would save some for the amazing fest banner 3 with DAs for Cloud, Zack, Vivi, and Tidus.

Man did I screw up though, I almost beat him first try, and I was wondering why Vayne was doing such poor damage, and when I went to upgrade Larsa's accessory to the 8% I noticed I didn't have Vayne or Larsa equipped with anything because I was planning to get the hero equipment from Kite's shop and I forgot to equip it before the fight!

D'oh! Well he is pretty easy at least, the incoming damage is really high so I have to use Larsa and Orran's awakenings early, but it becomes a lot more manageable when Vaan gets his sync 1 up because of the damage reduction barrier. Wish I could get a better time but this realm lacks a buffer.

Got Wol lmr dupe with the ticket, ugh.

Your team must be a lot better than mine, I got 30.20 on my first try on the 580. I don't really want to run it again for the extra rewards right now.

Barely missed the sub-30, but that was without HE or HAs for Ashe or Vayne, so presumably that should be easy to get later.

650 was a lot easier than I expected after doing 580. This was my very first try.

Also it's nice that they put all the repeat hero equipment in the same dungeon so we only have to farm 2 instead of 3.

Oh and the boss rewards cover all the HA in the other dungeon, so you actually just have to farm 1 if you don't mind buying from the store. Considering that I wish this group only lasted 2 weeks instead of 3.

I'm pretty sure the boss rewards are split across the other two corridors?

Cleared 500 and 550 XV Gilgamesh with 2.5 BDL; just both Tactics fights left.

His damage output is no joke, so I had a failed run because Mog died in phase 2, and I couldn't counter the phase 3 FB.

Other than that, it really wasn't too bad. Vaan AASB1+AASB2 is an amazing combo that lets him throw out 29,999 5 2 at ridiculous speed.

Tickets were both spent on the Lightning banner, and got me a new Queen BSB and 2 worthless dupes. Oh well...

Today was my 2500 day login bonus, but I just got a BSB in the draw.

I faked having a third AASB in addition to Delita and Gaffs by combining TGCs dyad and USB, Mog somehow died to sap right before countering full break, and I managed to barely sub-30 it anyway despite my chain running out like a tick before TGCs second dyad activation went off leaving him with like 10% and no BDL up.

Another ten record markers and keys (and lethes tears I guess...!) are available from Kites shop

Dream Selects are tomorrow! Fingers crossed that Mog sync will be on there!

I have enough gems for one pull... I was planning to go for either Fujin or Hope. Hope's is higher in raw power but Fujin's also has extra cap breaks and will be relevant sooner (wind lab 2 in ~5 weeks)

It was supposed to be last time too but since global had that bug catching even delayed it wasn't there.

Mog's sync gives that huge magic damage his awakening 1 has boost for 3 turns and that's makes it very valuable for tanky bosses.

Did you already beat magic sandworm? From what Ive read this upcoming wind boss is supposed to be easier.

I should probably plan my fest pulls... I have 200 mythril right now (plus 15 left in realm dungeons I need to grab); definitely not doing all of LotR like I did in past fests, and probably skipping at least the physical AASB lucky. Im also not sure what sync I wanna grab from the 100 myth select (assuming I do that); I was thinking maybe either Kefka, Laguna, Shantotto, or Mog.

I did already beat Sandworm. Honestly it's a little disappointing the 2nd round lab bosses apparently are easier than the first. Wind magic was my weakest team, so I dream selected Barb's sync and awakening. Then I drew Wedge's sync, and Alphinaud's sync3 to go with his awakening. So technically I don't need Fujin at all, but I still think she's a better chainer than Alphinaud because she has the 500 SB glint.

I did the sync dream select and got Eiko sync2 in the grab bag! This should be useful for Earth Guardian. Picked up Mog sync since it's here this time.

Finally got the sub30 on FF2 Bahamut thanks to Mog's sync!

Ugh I dunno why I'm having such a hard time sub30ing these "easy" bahamuts like 4 and FF14 despite powercreep and wait mode, this took hours and good RNG and I finally gave in and got Minwu's HA and that still took a lot of tries of being 1-2 seconds short.

I think that's about half of them sub30'd. I have FF1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and Tactics left. Some of those are gonna take a while... maybe I should start putting tickets towards 8 since it's the next crystal dungeon, though I could also dream select Fujin's sync.

I guess I should try 12 since the hero gear is out.

Im at 12 beaten, 9 sub-30d. Ill probably take another crack at XIII once I get Lightnings HE, but that might not be enough to save me 4.5 seconds... I also feel like I should be able to get I but Garlands AA has radiant shield, ugh. And then my IV time is nowhere close to a sub-30 even with Golbez dual+sync+awakening; gotta get someone to replace Pecil to have a shot at that one I think...

Yeesh I guess hero gear really does make that much of a difference! I thought I would have a way harder time than FF2 because that has 3 mages and FF12 only has 2 and this Bahamut has a million more HP.
