We do not believe that only 144,000 will be rewarded. We believe that everyone will be rewarded, some with a position of leadership in Heaven, and the rest will live on a perfect paradise Earth as perfect human beings. It's not like we're all battling for one of those 144,000 spots. We don't see it as better or worse to be in heaven compared to on earth, just different.

I mean the ones I met are nice people, but maybe only nice to my face because they are some of the aggressive types (other than mormons) when it comes to conversion.

I was raised in a Jehovah Witness household where no one was serious about it. The Meetings (church) didn't really seem weird as a kid. It was a small one. My Mexican side os all Jehovah Witnesses and alcoholics lol. They seem to lean heavier into the alcoholic end. I also avoided doing service at all costs because of social anxiety. Even back then as a young teen, I didn't like the idea of trying to sell someone on something they didn't want. Some my family is still Jehovah Witness, but none of them cut communication from my family or anyone else when they stopped going. No one kicked my cousin out their lives when he came out as gay. So, I dunno. I realize in a much bigger picture, they convince people to do family destroying things. But damning someone just for being religious always seemed hypocritical for me, since you're just doing to them what you think they all will do to you. Some people just use religion for balance and don't do all the extra stuff. And I was raised around those people. I definitely get it if you're raised around religious people that do all the fucked up parts and it really ruined your life.

Also I dont like them because they always show up driving Mercedes

The bible says that blood is sacred and belongs to God ( Genesis 9:3,4; Leviticus 17:11), and therefore, it should be be discarded, not used by humans. It would be a sin to eat, use, or otherwise put someone else's blood into our bodies.

So we don't eat blood pudding, and we reject blood transfusions for this reason. We would consider it a sin.

Whether or not one is "denied heaven" for this is not up to us, and thus, not a question we can answer.

If you would be worried that God would somehow make you less happy by making you "perfect" according to his definition, I don't think you have to worry about that. God is knows everything and has the power to do everything, which includes making you as happy as possible.

We are not opposed to modern medicine, just blood transfusions. Thankfully in many cases, there are alternatives to receiving transfusions, which we would happily use.

The bible I read actually says that the act of intercourse between a man and another man is the thing that is the sin, not simply "being gay".

If someone who is gay also wanted to live by bible's standards, they would need to abstain from sex or relationships.

Well, that's cool, I guess. But as someone who used to be very religious, you're not going to change anyone's mind by being hostile to them. They will either realize that religion is kinda bunk for themselves or they won't.

If you wanna do something then ask hard question that actually make then think about their faith, don't just be hostile and say "your god is evil because x" because that's just going to put them on the defensive and it'll shut down the conversation.. unless you just really wanna argue with them, but then I suggest going and finding someone who is hostile first.

I dated a JW a long time ago. He wanted to leave the religion but was worried about being ex communicated. The religion is absolutely a cult. They cut out anyone who ever leaves from their life, regardless of if theyre family. We dated long distance for a year and a half with him making plans to leave the cult and move to be with me. He finally broke it to his family and suddenly ghosted me for over a week before he broke up with me and blocked me. I never heard from him again.
