The season premiere starts at 8PM EST on Discovery Channel, plus there's going to be one extra fight to be posted on the official BattleBots Youtube channel on (at least if I read the news post right) Sunday. The episodes will also be available for streaming on Discovery+. Here is the full fight card for tonight's show, capped off with an awesome main event as the defending BattleBots champion End Game takes on the biggest heel in the sport, Team Whyachi's Hydra:

Please put any discussion of match results under spoiler tags until 24 hours after the episode airs out of consideration for people who can't watch the episode live, especially if you decide to watch the episode early on Discovery+ before it airs on TV. Because that's a thing.

If I allow free posting with no spoiler tags, then people who pay for Discovery+ to watch the episode early can ruin it for everyone, and people who are able to watch it as it airs can ruin it for people who are DVR'ing the episode. Someone might still want to tag the topic and see the fight card before they're able to watch the episode, but having discussions outside of spoiler tags makes that a risk.

Having a 24-hour period where spoiler tags are necessary and then lifting the restriction is a fair compromise to give people time to watch the episode.

It's not hard to avoid a topic with Spoilers.

I certainly wouldn't come into topic that has Spoilers

You don't need to keep posting the same point. Just stop posting instead.

You can probably subscribe to Discovery+ to get the episodes then. $5 a month, but it's certainly better than upgrading/switching/adding cable to get the channel.

I'm pretty sure that's a mistake. 7 fights is the normal amount for a standard 2-hour episode, there's no way they could stretch it to 3 hours

Watch the show tonight and see how far the bots have advanced compared to the original series. This is season 6 of the reboot, meaning that the reboot now has more seasons than the original series did... so clearly the fights are exciting enough to keep a loyal audience coming back.

That's cool. But I don't think any robot combat video game could (or will) ever top Robot Arena 2.

I'm 99% sure that's a mistake. Last season's 2-hour episodes had 7 fights and already felt like there was a bit of padding, so there's no way in hell that they can stretch 7 fights into 3 hours.

Uppercut knocked out Gigabyte, and Switchback's debut didn't go as hoped as Gruff toughed it out. Time for Tombstone vs. Captain Shrederator, and my only question is whether Tombstone can knock it out before it just randomly dies on its own.
