No details beyond that until they can talk about 6.2

Hit 90 on WVR today, which felt pretty good. Probably going LTW and GSM as my next crafting grinds, that way I can make all my crafting gear.

I've been working on leveling all the classes up 5 levels at a time - this week bringing all my DPS up to 50 through Aurum Vale and Dzemael Darkhold and now hitting the tanks. I did Warrior through Command Missions back when I was scared of tanking so now it's just Dark Knight and Paladin to do here before we move onto healing.

Running every dungeon about 20 times as DPS before going in as tank and then running it 6-8 times as tank before going in as healer seems to give me the pretty good idea of things - DPS learn the dungeon, learn the packs, learn what's a good pull and a bad pull. Then go in as tank and get familiar with where the big damage is, to set me up to come in as healer and also be able to hold the whole group together somewhat

once everything hits 50, time to start learning the trials and raids properly too...

Synched Striking Tree EX was one of my first new player experiences by mistake and it was glorious.

All it changes is a few cut scenes. Your choices have no effect on your ability to progress the questline or your rewards.

i don't have it to 50 just yet, it's my last one on the road there, but god Scholar feels good after getting Aethercharges at 45. AoE is instant cast, fairy takes care of most small healing and the three charges of instant healing seems way stronger than the AST equivalent of 1 charge on 40 second cooldown or WHM's full heal on 120 (which i've not actually used yet as only get that at 50 and had no instant cast healing on WHM yet)

Lustrate does fall off a lot compared to Essential Dignity. But on the other hand you get Excog. Scholar the best.

finally hit 50 on everything, now to slow down even more to mix in samurai and red mage!

I feel like even-leveling classes (other than crafters) is a path to madness.

I feel like throttling something when I'm forced to try and bring Gladiator/Thaumaturge/Lancer up.

drawback, i'm definitely not getting intimately familiar with my DPS class' rotations

It got so bad that I needed to buy vendor gear. VENDOR GEAR!

Maybe I should max my other crafters, Carpentry/Alchemy/Goldsmith just ain't cutting it anymore.

Honestly no reason to upgrade tome gear until hitting 89 and getting your free job gear.

A previous expansions best tome gear is good enough for the entire next expansion's leveling process.

I do have plenty reason, namely the "getting murdered while clearing FATEs"

If you've been doing 85 and 87 dungeons at all you should have gotten free drops at the end of every run. Check your inventory/armory chest.

I haven't been doing them *in* Monk until today. I couldn't even queue for Vanaspati or Ktisis Hyperborea until after I bought the vendor gear.

...At least the 86 crafted gear looks interesting, though (except for the gloves, which are the 87 dungeon)

Did a bit more monk grinding tonight in a FATE group, obtained music scroll for the final zone.

..."Only" about 160 FATEs remaining to unlock all Gemstone vendors.

I don't know that I'd say "most", but there's definitely a lot of good shit after the 79 dungeon.

I am never going to learn all of these 50 dungeons. Which is the single easiest to hit once per class to get to 51 and into dusk vigil? i feel like it's amdapor keep, the stalker makes wanderer's palace pretty stressful but there's still a bunch of the 50 dungeons i've not refamiliarized myself with

If you are trying to get EXP then the level 50 dungeons give almost none. Level 50 content was released when level 50 was the cap so there was no reason for them to give EXP. This is the case for ever X0 dungeon from 50 on.
