They don't expire per say, but there is a limit to how many you can have at once F2P (10k I believe)

If you get more than 10K, they go to your gift box, and those do expire after a while, iirc. So just make sure you clean out your gift box if you're not going to be buying packs for a while

You can carry a maximum of 10,000 free gems (I believe paid gems have no limit) and then any more you earn go to your gift box. The ones in your wallet never expire, but I believe the ones that get left in your gift box will after a certain time.

Just spend them man you get enough through daily challenges you should basically get 1000 every 7-8 days. Worst case you'll just generate a SR to unlock a secret pack and try for some URs to melt down.

Went ahead and made Harpies, a casual build for now that focuses on just regular swarming/beatdown and using Phantasmal Dragon as the boss. Made an Unranked Room with "Using Fun Decks" as the room comment. Guy came at me with Dryton/Heralds. Kinda salty ngl. >_>

Though I did go against two peeps using Egyptian Gods and Gradius, so that was neat.

Speaking of Konami-branded archetypes, why do we have Vampires, and a clearly Belmont-inspired "Vampire Hunter", but no real Castlevania archetype?

Gotta remember that there's licensing stuff involved that would go beyond simply in house stuff. Especially when it comes to the people who would print the stuff. Also they aren't exactly the biggest on crossovers or other collaboration things. There's a reason why the only three yugioh characters to appear in jump fighting games are yugi, the pharaoh, and kaiba plus their respective ace monsters.

I haven't heard or thought of pojo in years, thanks for making me feel not young.

So kinda off topic since not related to Master Duel but 15+ years ago I used to play on a site called Duelistgroundz. It was honestly fucking cool. The big thing about it was that you can be recruited in teams and with these teams there would be wars. You could either do free for all or one duelist from each side plays until they lose and get eliminated.

Anyways, the site was cool because there were actual tournament topping players that participated. Hell, the 2005 US National Champion Max Suffridge attended the site. I randomly remembered the site and Max recently so I decided to look him up and turns out he fell to his death in a hiking accident around 5 years ago. Crazy how these things turn out.

Apparently the MD subreddit already figured out a way to maximize the gems from daily missions in this game.

Basically, you have to go 3 days without redeeming any daily missions so you eventually have all 9 possible daily missions in your mission list. You can complete them, just don't redeem them to claim the rewards. Then, you just complete and redeem the 3 specific daily challenges that give the biggest reward of 50 gems (done by winning 2 ranked duels and completing at least 3) every day while not redeeming any of the ones that give smaller rewards. That way, the 3 missions that give the biggest reward get constantly refreshed and you can get the max of 150 gems each day from dailies. The daily mission list seems to clear out at the end of each month, so make sure to redeem all 9 missions at once on the final day before that happens.

Won't Be a issue for my dinosaur deck. Using Jurrasic world to summon a token to my opponents field would disrupt its immunity. Leaving their board free to be run over by my established field of dinos.

Yeah it's not a perfect strat but I just love the idea of trolling a bit. Just tried it, went against CyDras so instant loss lol. Then went against some 60 card Blue Eyes where I almost lost because they got out Chaos Max and left me with 400 LP but ty Kaijus. Was able to get Exodia with 4 cards in deck -____-

I already said it's not a perfect strat lol. And I was talking about most common methods, Kaijus and pierce. I have yet to run into a burn deck, or final countdown. Or a monster that can attack directly over 2300 ATK. Or deck destruction. Not saying it CANT happen but y'all are kinda missing the point lol

I'd recommend Dark Ruler No More but sadly opponent takes no damage no turn which is bad if you're trying to go for the OTK. There's also Forbidden Droplet

Worst match I've ever had, I got locked out entirely. Other player went first and spent like 20 minutes summoning an infinite number of six samurai into Rhongomyniad. I've seen people go into crooked cook but Invoked Purgatorio does piercing damage.

I just want to reach plat 1 again because now you can't lose rank once you get there. I've run into like 3 plat 1 players playing decks that are actually fun or even trash just for laughs. Someone was running Exodia but none of the stuff that actually draws like crazy or even protects you except battle fader.

How many cards does Skull Servant need in hand to start its combos and OTK? If you can afford to discard multiple cards, then Forbidden Droplet is the best going second card in the Solitaire meta.

Kaijus? Lava Golem? Sphere Mode? There are very few monsters that have protection from being tributed away for one of those. The issue is that you can usually only Kaiju one monster away because of the restrictions of the archetype, and while Lava Golem and Sphere Mode tribute away more of the opponent's monsters at a time, they also take away your normal summon for the turn which might affect your ability to set up and OTK. Aside from those, Forbidden Droplet is probably your best bet.

Getting Rhongo'd sucks. It's bullshit and should be banned (which it is in the TCG) but it's somehow not banned in the OCG or Master Duel.

Still been loving it myself. I have been lured by the power of Thunder Dragons. The consistency and the effects pair well with what I am going up against on ladder. I feel like people are reacting to Tri-Brigade. Lots of decks that have more recursion and if one is banished ala Shuraig it doesnt slow them down much.

Dark Magicians and Cyber Dragons can just be pests that can push through on you. The meta is crazy and all over the place. Its been dynamic, but maybe thats just me. Also I started 5 days late and missed the Drytron wave.

Whats the best duel you have had? I love figuring out how to come back when its turn 5-6 with your starting resources gone.

You can sell some of your current UR to help cover the cost. But personally I'm not sure what else you can do. Synchrons I don't think are very good, and as a pure synchro deck I can't think of any reason to use them over speedriod/wind witch's, or virtual world.
