Same. People are judgey as shit here, but it's awkward to go to places alone when you're not used to it, especially after lockdowns and covid. She noted it was mostly groups of friends and she just felt out of place and overcrowded. That's easy to understand. Most people are too awkward to even go to the movies alone. She felt overwhelmed when she first did it, but by the 3rd video she got over it and seems to be having fun. Good for her.

That's fair. It took me a while before I was comfortable going to the movies or to restaurants by myself

Going out by yourself and not making any friends isn't weird, even if you were expecting to. Going out alone and expecting to make friends and then crying about it when it didn't go as expected is.

Could be fake, but I could see it easily being real. And its for the stated reasons.

If you're an attractive woman on a dating app, you're probably used to a ton of guys constantly giving you attention. To having your pick of the lot.

Going into the real world and finding that guys aren't actually going to throw themselves at your feet for your selection is probably a jarring experience.

Dating apps are really a cancerous scam.

It's more me judging her than telling her what she needs or what she can or cannot do. I'm sorry I don't think she's this brave person you're trying really hard to enable here. And ask yourself this, would you hold the same standard for anyone else if they did the same?

Yes? I encourage everyone to branch out and try something new and I feel bad for them if it doesn't go as planned and they're upset about it. I never said she was a hero, dude, just that you're being judgy as shit, which you just confirmed.

I think its weird not feeling sorry for the lady is seen as not having empathy.

Im sure most folks can understand why shes bummed. Which is empathy. But that doesnt mean folks have to agree she should be crying about it.

Like, I can understand why a wealthy kid getting their allowance cut would be upset.

But me judging them for being overly sensitive isnt showing a lack of empathy.

I'm not but the women i have been are. I can't be the only one that wasn't distracted. And i wasn't even saying she was ugly. But like a mole or a bad pimple, it's very distracting.
