I'm surprised there are no 3-stage pure poison lines in the franchise. I blame gen 1's overloading of poison. Why did purple become the default colour for poison anyway?

All really good... except not big on Swalot because it has always disappointed me in every time I've run it in.

Every Muk and Weezing I've even run, by contrast, has been great. Will go Muk today as I like it more in the anime, but either is totally fine.

Pity it's not a dual type, cuz I would love to go for Alolan Muk here.

As it is, going gen 5 again, Gunk Shot inaccuracy be damned.

I like Arbok a lot because, again, it is snake and snake is good.

But I voted for Muk because I've wound up with a Muk in my party pretty often. It was also in my very first party on Blue.

We do seem overdue for some more single-stage Pokemon polls. Only ones we've had are Pikaclones and abominations!

Garbodor, narrowly. Idk if it's screaming in pain or hungry but it's still hideous-cute. Weezing is very close behind, because although I like it a lot (I used it in Crystal and Soul Silver as well as White 2), it's a bit of an uninspired design with the old gen 1 extra head crap again. Arbok is the most underwhelming Pokemon ever ingame and is a bland design with no personality, but at least it's not Swalot!

Always kinda liked Arbok and Weezing. Probably Team Rocket from the Anime.

Voted Weezing because I've actually used him in the game once or twice. I guess technically I did do a "Team Rocket" run that used Arbok but...

Could just do single-stage non-legendary mons by generation? Once we've gotten a few more down, since there's a ton in 3, 5 and 7, but almost none in lots of the others. Maybe mono-normal one stage evos would chop it down a bit?

I have several future polls planned! After some time we may need to be a bit vague with the categorisation but not yet.

Arbok an easy win for me today.

I feel like Seviper would go in a "rival line" poll better. Seviper and Zangoose. Alolan Rattata and Yungoos/Gumshoos. Mareanie and Corsola. Durant and Heatmor. Y'know, things like that.

Maybe a single stage form changing gimmick poll could be fun. Like Rotom, Oricorio, Castform, Minior, Eiscue. Maybe throw in thematically appropriate stuff like Ditto and Spinda.

I already have tomorrow's poll ready and it's a 2-stager, but I'll be sure to put one of the single stage polls on my list for right after that! I'm trying to balance types so things are mixed around, I went too heavy on the bugs at the start of this thing >_>

That's a cool idea, I had a 'gimmicky single stage normal type' poll in mind but I could put in stuff like Eiscue too. I was actually planning to do a poll specifically for Rotom's forms but I could try and combine them into that as well I suppose.

Any theme that Chandelure fits would probably include Gengar too, I'm not sure it could win that fight!

And my favorite Gen 8 Pokmon, Toxtricity

(my alternating 1/2 favorite Pokmon is Bulbasaur, which is obviously also poison, but its primarily a grass type so Im leaving it out... feels wrong in a poison gym)

Pokemon that evolve from dusk stone (if it's too small, can add Dawn stone to the poll)

EDIT: naw don't add Dawn stone. I was thinking dusk and dawn, but the pokemon that evolve with dawn are too different and require a specific gender

Actually that may be hard for chandelure to win. Can do gen 5 stones (3 monkeys, musharna, cinccino, eelektross, lilligant, whimsicott, and chandelure)

This is a pretty bad day honestly. The top three are helped by having some decent anime moments, Arbok probably looks best.
