I rewatched all of these prepping for No Way Home, and my top 3 are definitely Spider-Man 2, Into the Spider-Verse, and No Way Home. Homecoming and Spider-Man 1 just a notch below.

I'll be honest I've only seen the original trilogy. Of those I say probably 2 is marginally better than 1.

No Way Home, but I reserve the right to change my opinion based on how they eventually follow up on the ending.

I still haven't seen Spider-Verse, though, so that might overtake it one day anyway.

Wait shit I didn't notice Spider-verse when I voted Homecoming lol

2 easily. I rewatched it last summer and it struck a strong emotional chord with me. The movie is very human, and the superhero parts take a backseat to Peter's struggles with identity, PTSD, etc. The CGI hasn't aged well, but everything else is fine wine.

2 > No Way Home > 1 > Spider-verse > Amazing 1 > Far From Home > 3 > Homecoming > Amazing 2

spider man 2 is the most overrated comic book film ever. I never understood why people think that movie stands out.

I also just rewatched it last year and it's the best of 3 bad movies, but it's still a bad movie. And watching Toby be Peter Parker is painful.

2 is great

I still think Spidey vs Ock is the best Spiderman fight in a movie...followed closely by Goblin in Spiderman 1. Actually they're both pretty close to each other

I find it really hard because I think 2, NWH and Spiderverse are all amazing for totally different reasons. Probably 2. I think it's the best movie in like...a vacuum? Does that make sense? Like NWH and Spiderverse are both great on their own too but enhanced by references and previous Spiderman knowledge. As plasma said, it's a very human movie and I like that. Plus I'm a sucker for how much of a big deal those movies were at the time.

Yeah, it's just really visceral. I feel like they tried to recapture that a bit at the end of No Way Home.

I'm not just talking the idea of two dudes on their feet throwing Rocky style haymakers. I'm talking the setting, the dialog from the villain, and the main character summoning the sheer force of will from all of it to go "You know what? You are fucking done." to said villain.

My favourite part of NWH by far was that they did this. It was all I could talk about. Such a departure from the flimsier CGI fights of the other Holland movies, deliberately recalling SM1. Obviously it didn't go quite as hard (and both were quite brief) but they were still great.

No Way Home > Spider-verse > SM2 > the rest

Spiderverse makes this an easy one. If just live action it'd be between Homecoming and NWH.

Amazing Spider-Man is the only one I honestly do not enjoy. ASM 2 was surprisingly much more improved....after not watching it for like 5 years. Has all the same problems as 3 except none of the memes to save it.

Not voting since I haven't seen TASM2 or No Way Home, but I'm still proud of the Spider-Man brand for its current renaissance.
