Yeah I think it's a bit costly for what it ended up being. I still bought into it, sadly didn't pull her skin naturally >.>. I think the rates actually say it's possible, just like 0.01% chance, so the rates for the first few pulls might as well not exist.

At least the other skins can become a side benefit of getting a monthly pack though. I dunno I still want AS to survive at least a year or two, so I don't mind if they charge out the ass for skins. Admittedly having Carleen with a unique main screen enhances the experience for me, but probably not worth it for a whole lot of other people.

Yeah that's what it says, but I think they had to program in an incredibly miniscule chance to actually get the skin for the sake of UI (I kept checking the rates as I dug in >.>). But the chance is so low that it might as well be not possible.

Huh that's weird. Is it that much trouble for them to program it to block off the costume until your 6th roll? At least Tweety has a free costume where she gets that wittle birb back on her head instead of that stupid hat :3

I have the monthly pass and I dont get too much currency in this game. I hate how their idea of free rewards is stamina 99% of the time. Mythic Heroes is super good though; I get about a 10 pull every day :3

Week 2 of VH is in the bag. That fight with Shark-speare's second form was annoying -- switching out my healer from Liv Lux to Vera was what did the trick for me.

And since it is double normal stage drop again, burning more of my pyroxene is very much encouraged.

You guys can take some of Fate Grand Orders husbandos into your games tbh. It has too many.

Right now, I'm playing 3 gachas that are 100% girls (well, technically 98% in PriConne's case) and 1 gacha that is 100% guys.

Arknights are making a new game (other than Ark Asteris, or whatever it's called) and is one set in the Arknights universe.

Called "Arknights: Endfield" and not much known about it at all yet. So... who knows what it will be yet!

Hoping it's not another tower defense. I'd imagine not , otherwise they wouldn't bother with another game. I love the art style of Arknights, just not the gameplay.

I might turn out to be wrong, but I don't think it is soon. First closed beta starts this month and in my experience that typically means the game is at last 6 months to a year away (or never in the case of some).

I'm kinda in the same boat. I liked Arknights' characters (kemonomimi babes for days), but the gameplay started to drive me up the wall after awhile until I eventually quit.

I can't imagine they'd do another tower defence game. Loads of things it could be though.

Shift Up truly do beautiful waifus with plenty of assets. And husbandos as well! Also absurdly generous with what they give out, if they run it similar to Destiny Child.

I like both the characters and gameplay in Arknights, except when they do BS stages that require you to use a guide if you dont want to waste a bunch of time with trial and error figuring out when enemies come out and their path :<

But I also like JRPGs and would love to see Arknights characters in games like that :3

Arknights needed so much more clarity, or at least make the gameplay way more flexible in terms of deployment if they wanted to make a game like this. I feel like it doesn't feel good to try to figure things out by yourself. It's just better to watch a youtube video and just copy or closely imitate the strat.

They needed some really good enemy forecast system or at least like a way to view the entire dungeon before attempting them. I feel like most gachas purposely leave those kinds of good game design out for the sake of ppl playing the game longer or use gems for stam or revives. That kinda system really needs to go away

Yeah, if they had the enemy intel before you did the stage, so you could see what you'd be against so could better prepare it'd be a good start as largely have to go in blind save for seeing what the map looks like.

I guess it does have the "trail stage" run you can do, but eh to that. Especially with the longer stages like annihilation.

Frostnova and Rat King broke me.

Yeah, Rat King was what made me quit as well.

People were like "just use Durin, it's not like you leveled her, right?" and here I am going "yeah I fucking did, guess I'll just need to rely on Gravel and unleveled Projekt Red instead".

I still cleared most of that event, but then we got the first CC and I didn't want to deal with the trial-and-error bullshit anymore.

Once you can no longer use a phone/emulator on a computer/laptop. As long as you are taking care of RL duties and so on, who cares how you spend your free time?

The target demographic for average mobile games in general is middle aged women. Some individual games may target a different audience but by large these games are designed to appeal to adults with less time to play games than teens.

Eh, I'm 38 and still playing.

Yeah, your responses were about what I figured but it really threw me for a loop when the age ranges cut off at mid 20s.

I'm 31 and I'm married to Girls' Frontline, and I guess as long as that game still alive I'll try to stay alive, too.

You know, it's really weird, but my MS count has been dwindling in Alchemy Stars. It was in the 200s a while back, and my guys have only gotten stronger so I've been clearing stages in 1-2 turns most of the time. Now it's down to 80 and I have no idea how it could've dropped so much :<

I just do the auto sweep and only fight the bosses >.>. I have a ton of that currency thing anyways

WTFz how much do you have? Auto takes like 8+ MS per stage D:

Also somehow in one turn, a single grunt enemy did like 80% damage to my team. I looked away to see how auto search was going in Azur Lane on my computer and when I looked back at my phone Bethlehem was dead and my whole team took major damage <_<

Another also, why can't I change captains? I press the button, then choose someone else, and it shows the button was pressed but it just closes that and nothing happens.

Why can't I update Arknights on Bluestacks? When I open the game it says the client is out of date, and prompts me to update it. I click the button and it takes me to the store which usually has a button to update, but this time it only has uninstall and open :<

The store you use might not have updated yet. Sometimes I have that issue for the first few hours, so may need to wait a little?

I've canned Revived Witch and Tenka on my end. Running out of space and those were both games I was growing increasingly fed up with the grind and was very little I actually enjoyed about either of them. Goodbye you two, you won't be missed!

I forget what MS is even for in Alchemy Stars, I just know that sometimes it's available from my Colossus for resource pickup.

Speaking of me being derpy about AS, I only found out now by accident that you could use other people's units as supports. Just had somebody's Ruby absolutely demolish N12 of the event.
