Inflation is fun. Low skilled workers are never going to be compensated with livable wages. Theyll just increase the cost of the products

They effectively subsidize it. Something ridiculous like 50% of Walmart's workforce is on welfare, which effectively means the government is paying the workers the rest of the living wage Walmart doesn't want to give them.

Except for the part where, historically, increases in minimum wage generally have not driven inflation. As intuitive as your interpretation seems, it's just not how it works.

That must be why prices never change when minimum wage is raised.

How did you read "generally have not" and get the word "never" out of it?

Their first main finding was that "wage-price elasticities are notably lower than reported in previous work: we find prices grow by 0.36 percent for every 10 percent increase in the minimum wage."

First google result for "minimum wage and inflation." Presumably you could find more if you wanted to substantiate your belief that prices always follow wage increases. For the most part, though, the correlation is pretty weak, so you might have difficulty proving that. That article even tries to cover both sides, but all they're able to provide for the argument that wage increases cause inflation are theories and hypotheses, not empirical evidence collected from prior wage increases.

They are all in on protecting the wealthy and their corporations.

Every single thing they do is to benefit the rich and companies. Theyre like the humans in the Blade universe that are the vampires bitch in hopes that one day theyll be turned into a vampire.

Democrats are no better but like Darth Vader in Return Of The Jedi, they do have moments of clarity and make the right decision sometimes but its still better than never.

Minimum wage goes up then prices go up because the companies are greedy. It happens all the time. It can easily be proven by literally just walking into a store right after a minimum wage increase.

rev

you thought walmart stopped selling ramen noodles because your walmart was just out of fucking stock.

what you think happens, is not what happens when you actually look at the many, many, many fucking research papers on it

why do you keep being fucking ignorant about everything.

rev

prices are going up while the minimum wage stays the same.

it's called inflation. it is wholly unrelated to minimum wage. raising minimum wages actually combats inflation and prices go lower as a result because there is now more money going around. you do know that there's actual fucking statistics that explain this, right? like from people who studied their whole life to study this.

when there's more money in the economy, when the economy is good, inflation goes down
