Frankly, I felt uncomfortable about the train/dogpile on Isquen. His posts were mostly null alignment to me, but seeing a bunch of people pile on a relatively new player on day 1 makes me feel a little bit... skeevy, I guess. I'm always suspicious of that sort of thing.

Plus I put him as top of the good vibes so I'm obliged to defend him

Do you specifically think that some of the players who jumped on Isquen have a decent chance of being scum here, or is it more of a general discomfort with jumping on newer players?

It's mostly the latter, but its possible that the former is also true. I generally don't have much confidence in my early day 1 reads though, so I couldn't say for sure. I guess plum would look the worst from that, though, if I go down that logic to its conclusion

I can't answer your first question but I can comment on the second one. That's a joke. Plum fakeclaimed town gladiator (but only in the first 4 hours of the day) last game and got lynched right after

Oh yeah I dont expect jokes on that level. The Lea Princess thing is (if I remember correctly) just a running joke.

Wait, why are we killing chang again? I see Sbell voted him early on in the day for post 63, where chang says he would be first-time scum if he were scum in this game. Amusing, but the vote was also very early on in the day, so I'll give that a pass.

But Chris and Lopen voting for him because... chang was confused about the flavor? Yeah, I agree with Sultan, that's ridiculous. I agree with Sultan's theory about how the flavor might be split just because my own flavor feels like it shouldn't be town-aligned, though it's interesting to note that the only person to claim a Pokmon flavor (as per Ben's trap post) was Red.
... But this flavor discussion is pointless.

I did think chang's flowchart came off as defensive, but at the same time, as Death pointed out, the flowchart ain't wrong. That's exactly what happened last game. chang being vocally suspected by Crescent was the reason he was in one of my first four picks as Know-It-All. Not to mention he shot Ben just to make use of his role before inevitably getting lynched (but ended up proving himself town and avoiding the mislynch altogether).

I don't support this chang lynch. It feels baseless (not that we have much to go off of Day 1 anyway).

If anything, I'd support lynching Lopen for his blatant mimicking of Chris's actions and thoughts. But I'm curious to test his Gladiator claim if he's dead serious about that.

Still, I don't feel too good about these reads. I feel like I'm only focusing on the active voices right now. I do feel like Sultan is playing fairly similarly to last game, though, so I feel good about him even though his posts initially ring as scum to me (which is perfectly in line with how I felt about him last game). IGCD... also seems to be playing just like before lol

Trying to familiarize myself with the player names I'm not used to. Looking back at Hb's posts, I like them. Maybe it's because I agree with them for the most part, but they strike me as productive, directed, and meaningful. One of his posts mentioned Isquen as a relatively new player. Is that correct?

Speaking of Isquen, I can... kinda see the argument there for being scum, but by and large his posts struck me as lukewarm rather than anything substantially town or scum. I also don't see the correlation between him and chang that Lopen brought up (still waiting for you to duel me btw Lopen).

Chaeix I don't think has done or said much. I don't have any solid thoughts on him yet. Except for the part where he said he had a weird feeling about my posts because he's wrong and so obv SCUM!!1!
(jk he's totally right because I'm Town Third-Party again this game, so I should be lynched if Lopen decides to duel me)

ViolentAbacus is quite contrarian to his username. Rather than being hungry for the blood of chang, his posts have been quite grounded. His first few posts weren't substantial, but understandably, it's coming from a place where the game has just started and today is a work day. And then once that was out of the way, he did make a fairly decent post offering his thoughts on the game, most notably asking Red to talk more.

What's the list? Just listing the people who weren't in the last game? Why?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Princess is a banned role and Han would not put it in a game. I don't think he would use it even if it wasn't. Can we please stop seriously considering that claim?

I thought Plum looked the worst because his reasoning for doing so was the weakest, and thus it felt the most like trying to jump on a train

also i'd like to say that many of you have taken this rule too seriously thus far. there have been many obvious jokes thus far that have been considered in serious analysis

As for the players I'm familiar with, I always distrust Ben. Nothing new there. He's doing his usual tricks and traps, which... idk, does scum Ben usually do that? Been a very long time since I played Mafia with Ben before the last game.

Ulti I don't have much to go off from previous experience since I didn't read Topic 1 of the last game. But I did read his posts from dead town chat, and I think his attitude and posts have largely matched what I saw there. I like the vibes enough to say he leans town for me.

Sheep... I didn't think much of him until his post about Plum and Death, where he also unvoted Death in that same post (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/80022300/965072444). That post just came off to me as pointing fingers but not wanting to commit to blame, especially with the way he talked about Plum.

I mean, I agree that Plum strikes me as town this game, but I don't see merit to going "this post looks bad, but since it's Plum, I won't vote him instantly for it but I'm going to point it out anyway."

Death said he didn't think his deep analysis posts from last game were very useful, but I personally thought they were insightful. I hope this isn't an excuse for scum Death to try and get by without putting much effort, but I don't get that vibe from him. Death is contributing quite a bit, and that matches his play from the last game. Nothing about his posts says "fluffy" to me.
(Also, to answer your question, I thought I remembered someone saying Corrik gets mislynched a lot. I feel like I heard his name pop up a bit last game. Perhaps I was getting mixed up with the whole Cop mislynch thing from a previous game that involved Corrik? And the pineapple thing with Sultan. I thought I heard that somewhere, but perhaps I'm mistaken)

Mzero is... Mzero. I clearly never know how to read him considering I lost the last game believing that he was town 'til my demise.

I always get Sbell and Scare mixed up, so I'm gonna need to read through again for their posts.

And then Red has been... very cryptic. It strikes me as overtly scum behavior, but I was also super convinced he was scum last game and was terribly wrong. I'm hesitant to call him scum just yet.

I believe I've already mentioned my thoughts on the other players in previous posts. I quite liked Scare's tactic from last game of making everyone compile a ranking and justify everything, and although it's Day 1, I feel like this analysis has given me a better grasp on what's happening today than when I opened the topic this morning (to 111 new posts geez). I don't have any strong scum reads yet, but I do think Death is Town. I feel good about Sultan, too, but Death is giving me very good vibes overall.

Princess is a claim better to lynch than let he shot. It's a pro-scum role. If shot at night, it skips the next day phase.

That said, I can confirm Lea is not Princess.

Like this is a pointless paragraph. In the last game kirbys notes were strong. This feels like a paragraph that is written for no reason other than to write a paragraph
