I also recently found out that not only is there a Panel de Pon game on Gamecube, but it's got an English patch just like the original game. I might play BOF2 one day too since I never beat it but I'd rather play the GBA version. It should be possible for them to add GBA games. T0ffee posted... Speaking of SNES rpgs, I've been playing Ara Fell and I gotta say, they really nailed the feel of a snes rpg, while still being modern. I usually don't go for RPGmaker games, but after hearing that the devs went back and redid some stuff with a new engine just to bring it up to their new standards, shows how much they care for the game. The writing is good. The combat, while simple, can have some surprising depth. Overall, the game is good. Definitely worth a try if you're a fan of old snes jrpgs. I need to play that one day. Started this season of mob pyscho and it's fine. They haven't really gotten into anything yet. Watched episode 1 of immoral guild. Definitely not as good as harem labyrinth of last month in either ecchi or fantasy elements but it's watchable ecchi trash so far. Watched the first episode of legend of mana because kevin penkin did the theme song but it was a pretty trash first episode. The animation and directing felt poor and nothing really grabs you. Also checked out the first episode of the new bleach thing. I only watched like 120 eps of the original but it's the show that got me to watch subs in the first place (because I ran out of dubbed episodes and had to know what happened next) which opened up tons of anime for me. Started up Rise of the Third Power, which is the second game from the same devs and WOW, they really stepped up their game. Where Ara Fell felt at home on the SNES, this one feels like it can go toe-to-toe with games like Octopath, or the remastered Live A Live. That's still pretty bad. Although honestly I made it through the shitty bount arc and quit during the next story arc. The fighting had become dbz levels of nonsensical. Every shonen I've watched except hunterxhunter has it's best fights at the beginning before the characters actually get strong. Eminence kind of reminds me of the reincarnated worlds greatest assassin from a few seasons back. I wonder how long the joke of him making shit up that happens to be true will go for. This show has some pretty solid animation for the fights. Will probably watch it to the end. Renai flops is a pretty generic ecchi school romcom made by passione who have probably become my favorite ecchi studio ( they've done harem labyrinth and isekai reviewers recently). Main guy gets flashed once and molested by a dog twice in the first episode so thats something. I like generic ecchi highschool romcoms so I'm likely in it until the end. Pretty cool that it's an anime original as well. Mob psycho has been pretty low key this season so far. Almost boring. Hoping a real arc picks up before long. Sword isekai is pretty great still. Fran is awesome. DIY feels like it will be very consistent and pleasant with strong yuri undertones. Second anime this season that takes place in the future with a potential gay/lesbian pairing where they go "bro, it's the future, stop being weird about this, it's normal now". I'm down for that. However, in renai flops I'm like 90% sure the boy is actually a girl given the changing room scene. I guess for me it's only missing something truly amazing like mushoku tensei or kingdom but I think for most people chainsaw man would fill that role. Also watched and caught up on bocchi the rock and it's great and has yuri. The most yuri season of all time as well. This show is great though and the animation and how dumb it can make bocchi look are hilarious. Both it and DIY are easy to watch comfort shows with unique and incredibly animation. I expected the story would get to war a lot faster than it seems like it's going to so I didn't think it'd be too big of an issue but with this school arc going on, her annoying personality is front and center the whole time. They did at least tease some very tense situations back on earth that will presumably lead to a war. The sooner it happens, the better.
