My entire family has iPhone besides me, and every time I have to use it for something or to help them out I'm absolutely amazed at how terrible it is.

Nobody should have an iPhone other than children or the elderly.

• The Contacts UI looks more intuitive on iOS
• In WhatsApp, I have to download all images and GIF's to view them, when this is done in the background in iOS
• When I go to a restaurant and scan the QR code for the menu, the Android downloads the PDF, but doesn't show it the first time. I then try again and it downloads PDF again and I have to tap on PDF notification to view the menu. Way cleaner on iOS
• Can't beat Apple ecosystem, hands down
• There's one particular app that literally requires me to switch between data plan and Wifi back-and-forth to alleviate its connection issues. It's this one app on Android that has this issue and it drives me insane
• The game I play asks me every time I open it if I want to create a Google Play account and I never found a way to turn off this obnoxious notification. The game also has lots of connection issues, only on Android
• Blue bubbles, enough said. Also, can see actual timestamp of texts for iMessages
• You have to manually download every single app on Android. While some may think of this as flexibility, it really is easier if the essential apps such as Phone and Messages auto-update
• Android takes longer to reflect game updates. You also can't refresh the page like you can on iOS AND it takes longer to get to update page

Do the Apple Arcade trial, its awesome.

And you can play Fantasian, World of Demons, and Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls if you ever bother to subscribe to Apple Arcade.

Aren't iphones better value for money as they have better tech and get more support from Apple.

I'm not usually someone who is bound or opposed to certain brands, but I absolutely will never buy an Apple product.

iPhones cost a lot more than Android for phones with comparative specs, have much shorter planned obsolescence life for the hardware, and will hard cut off operating system updates for older models that results in almost every major app being unusable, by which I mean that at some point Apple says "your phone/pad is too old, so you aren't allowed to use it anymore".

My dad busted an old iPad out of storage a month ago and it wouldn't even allow him to install Amazon Shopping, said that there was no version of the app that existed that was old enough to work on it anymore. Not a single other app we tried to install worked either, the thing was essentially a paper weight. Just simply not something that happens on android.

Did you bust out an iPad from when Jobs was still alive and expect it to be supported?

It's also not the same because even with the store down they didn't TURN OFF all my games.

Just like Sony is going to shut down the PSN store and servers for PS3.

This is a terrible example (and it's Nintendo that's doing it, not Sony. They backed out for the time being) because some games are locked on their digital stores because they're not playable on newer game systems. Once those stores are shutdown, they're gone for good, barring any hacking.

For mobile devices, you literally just have to upgrade your devices and you can use the apps again.

As of now, I can't even play Ace Attorney 4, 5, and 6 on my Switch.

LTM is basically complaining that his Nintendo DS can't connect to the Nintendo servers to upgrade to the newest Switch firmware so he can play Pokemon Sword and Shield.
