The best game out right now is Ark Survival Evolved my son introduced me to the game many years back. Then wildcard and all of the genius over there asked me to shepherd the IP into the TV and Film space an honor I cant begin to describe.
Any real gamer is excited for Ark 2.!!!
But I am excited for you all to see the franchise unfold on the big screen. Stay tuned.

I started playing the first one because me and my gf have ran out of split screen games to play. It's unnecessarily complicated and obtuse. Took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to start a fire lol

my GF has like 6k hours and climbing... theres a decent PvE cluster that we've built a decent tribe on but I gave up a while ago. She still plays that shit like a second job though with the breeding timers and shit you have to do to get stats up. it really is a stinky game unless you are some sort of dinosaur megafan.

From what I've read Ark 2 will be nothing like the first one so maybe it will actually be good this time

We just started yesterday. We might stick with it but early game is such a drag. Made a hut at least. I have friends that play and like you said it's basically a job. They alternate who's on and shit taking care of eggs or whatever.

If anyone has any co-op or splitscreen suggestions I'll take them. If they're on Gamepass that'll be a plus too lol

If Vin Diesel promoted my game, Id DM him and ask him if he'd kindly not do that. Even if I had no back up plan to promote it.

The first game was in early access for years and released multiple paid expansions while in early access

I dunno, game was always pretty solid to me. I put in so many hours on one server. My cousin and I had a big light tower other clans used for guidance. Good times.

Oh, right, Ark DID finally have an official release instead of just being in "early access" like it was for the first 2 dlc maps. :l Lmfao.

I used to see my brother playing the first one. It was always him just kind of standing around or sitting on a dinosaur in a crowd of other people doing the same thing and nothing else.
