Literally how did this get passed as acceptable? >_> Hell, you can't even use her Ultimate Persona until the Final Fucking Boss! She should've been made playable around Futaba's dungeon or something, since you don't get a new combat party member in that dungeon. But nope, go play 95% of the game before you get to play with the new party members to Royal trolololol

I really hope in the PC release that mods or save editors fix this by letting her enter the party earlier so we can mess around with her kit more.

That how it should've been!! It would've made Futaba's dungeon more interesting!

You think that's bad? Katsumi didn't get a fight scene for like 8 years.

I guess the reason is they didn't want to redo all of the Phantom Thieves group scenes. So they just inserted the odd ones when they could.

But I dunno. I feel like if you're adding a new party member shouldn't they be in the game more? Maybe a FeMC would be better for these re-releases tbh

Yeah, that was one of my biggest disapointments with Royal. Great game overall, but Kasumi's implementation is too detached from the main story.

Similar to P4G, felt like there was two separate stories going on

This. It's more like the large majority of the "payoff" of the new Royal story and character content was attached to the new portion of the game basically around and at the end of it instead of this enhanced version of the game being redesigned around the new story and character content so it can be even better and more thoroughly enjoyed. This doesn't make P5R bad by any means, but it keeps a amazing game from being absolutely incredible.

I remember and it was hard to blame them especially considering the design of her Metaverse outfit. It looks too similar to Joker's in some ways for no good reason.

I just played Kasumi's awakening and yeah I can see how people thought she was the FeMC. It's also now obvious more than ever she's added content.

Seems like they should have been a lot more curious about the palace she was in.
