The only problem I have with D+ is the weekly episodes. Netflix has the right idea with releasing an entire season at once.

There really should be an option for waiting a week or binge watching the show.

Tom is probably getting replaced. He already said he doesnt want to do more with the role. And with everybody forgetting him in the last movie, its easy enough to explain why he looks different with a different actor. Make it a part of the spell.

IIRC, he didn't say he didn't want to do the role anymore. He simply said he doesn't know if his time as Spider-Man is over and that he felt like he's done everything he wanted to do with the character. He's also said he would play Spider-Man forever in a separate interview.

They are naming it like how Endgame was the finale for The Infinity Saga. Just means phases 4-X will be focused on the multi-verse. Likely with Kang being one of the major villains. Which is very fair and straight up comic Avengers.

I am hoping for a sprinkling of one Victor Von Doom as well. He could easily be the next Loki depending on the actor they get to play him. Im hoping they give him a mask that allows for expression. It works fine in the comics to have only his eyes and no give in the mask (especially given of how and when he was created). But I dont want the actor limited like that. It will have to be a big name.

Was only released last year. Doubt they'll announce the sequel any time soon. We're only just now getting the title for Captain America 4 after Falcon and the Winter Soldier was released over a year ago.

Do we know it's not for sure? Regardless, there are only moments that go beyond TV14. It wouldn't be a big difference.

I hope Daredevil takes a episodic "monster of the week" approach and not the same old serialized "6 hour movie" route. 18 episodes can be a lot of fun if it's not a giant movie.

Throw in MCU cameos and it can be perfect.

Pretty cool announcements, though I wish there was a trailer like this to hype everyone up. Just saying Avengers in 2025 wasn't enough.

Um you know you have the option to just wait until all episodes are out right? I feel like the tide is shifting back to weekly episodes (with maybe a 2 or 3 episode premiere), and I prefer that more than a full dump.

Weekly releases are definitely better than the binge model.

When Netflix started the binge model it was admittedly neat, maybe if only due to the novelty, but it's not really conducive to long term engagement. People will just watch the whole show in one weekend and then never talk about it again until a new season comes out. Meanwhile, it makes it harder to even discuss the show with your friends since you don't know what episode everybody is on.

Weekly releases keeps audiences around longer and gives people more chances to discuss it, thereby raising awareness of the show and possibly bringing in more viewers in the process since it's in the media's peripheries for a larger swath of time. And it's still possible to binge when the whole thing is over (as long as you don't mind avoiding spoilers for X amount of weeks).

Netflix is shooting themselves in the foot by still using the binge model (well that and from making god awful shows in general).
