They probably have data that PC ports have a negligible impact on their console sales and the software sales on those consoles. I think one day Microsoft and Sony will be publishing their F2P multiplayer games on each others platforms though. Microsoft makes a lot of money from Minecraft and soon to be COD and Sony will already be making lots of money from Destiny. Windows yes is an operating system that a good 80 percent of the world uses, but at the same time there is Linux, MacOS and to a lesser extent Android.
