The first 5 weeks will be play-in tournaments under the old bounty hunter format (an 8-bot tournament, then the winner faces an all-star "bounty" bot) and the 5 bots that advance from those will join the 3 active bots who have won a BattleBots world championship (Tombstone, End Game, and Tantrum) in a Tournament of Champions in the final episode. https://i.imgur.com/SuGFrI9.jpg This week's tournament has veterans like Hypershock and heavy hitters like Mad Catter and Valkyrie taking part in the tournament, and the bounty bot waiting at the end is the powerful spinner of Gigabyte. Season 3 (the first after it moved to Discovery) was when the reboot really hit its stride IMO. I liked Will talking about the mistake that cost him in the main tournament against P1 and how he wanted to avoid making the same mistake again.
