RIDDLE: You're in a room with no windows or doors. It's enclose on all 4 sides, floor, and ceiling. There are no open or closed windows and no doors anywhere. The only items inside are a lantern, a saw, a wooden chair, a wooden table, some matches, and can of karosene. You also notice that the walls appear to be made of solid concrete, very thick and sturdy. You scream for help but nobody answers back.

How do you get out of the room?

I kick down the wall, I'm strong as fuck.

You never said anything about vents.

You take the saw and see what you can. You see a way out.

I hate this riddle.

You got it! Or more specifically, saw the table in half, then put the two halves together. Two halves make a "whole", then you can crawl out through the "hole" you just made.

Yea it's a riddle I hated as a kid and I just randomly remembered it today lol.

The table is a planet and it was raining outside.

I use lantern so i can see. I use saw to cut table and chair into small pieces.. douse them in kerosene and light them on fire with the matches.
I wait till the concrete melts so I can escape.

the version of this riddle I know only has a table and a mirror in it

The Lantern allows you to go back in time, you use that to contaminate the concrete with Kerosene, which even with casual spillage can reduce the strength of Concrete 27% ( https://www.researchgate.net/publication/283594473), so with dedicate contamination, we're looking at Concrete that is like butter.

Use the Table, to smash my way out of the Concrete room.

Channel my inner MacGyver, and build a concrete tunneling monster truck.

the room is a building and the planet is a room outside. you're already outside.

You said 4 sides but also said floor and ceiling, a cube has 6 sides, so I was gonna guess it was two walls, a floor and a ceiling, and the other two spots where walls should be were open and you can just leave.

I would have never thought about this illogically and considered the play on words to be the answer. I still like it though, I'll tell it to my nephews.

You look in the mirror to see what you saw. You grab the saw and cut it in half. Two halves make a whole, go through the hole. B)
